Removing my business from this bank as soon as possible. Bank representatives don’t even have access to your credit card accounts if you don’t have checking with them. The banker had to call customer service to access them and the customer service representative just did the usual spiel of what they are “supposed” to respond with to certain requests. No one could give me any reasonable explanation breaking down why they couldn’t provide help to my request and just shut me down offering no further help or support. Terrible customer service and a typical one way dynamic where credit card companies trap and take advantage of people in difficult financial circumstances. Would give zero stars if I could.

Usually understaffed, line is always 5-8 people long with one teller open. Citi made 3.5 billion this quarter so not sure how they can’t afford to pay one more employee.

Before depositing cash in Citibank, the banker assured that deposits/withdrawals at the cashier counter were very safe. That in case of a conflict you can see a high-quality video that will explain everything. When making the payment, the cashier said that I had paid less than I actually had. I asked for a video. They refused to show me the video. I've been appealing for over a year, and Citibank pretends it doesn't know what I'm talking about. Finally, he replied, not based on the video recording but on the alleged investigation, that he would not return the money. I saw such conflicts when paying in a store: the cashier went to the back for a few minutes and either gave the customer back the money or showed him a video recording that he had not paid. If you don't want to lose, don't deal with Citibank. No stars. Then Citi took revenge: I paid by credit card before the deadline, I have coverage for this payment, and Citi charged me a penalty because the bank from which I paid allegedly neglected to transfer the money. I replied that it was my obligation to pay ahead of time and be covered, and that I was not responsible for the bank's negligence, but that didn't help. No stars. Zero trust.

The ATM will eat your check - I can't believe that happened today considering there are plenty of Yelp & Google reviews saying this happens - and the process of trying to get your check, your ATM card, and your money back from this bank is tiring and a waste of time, and utterly deadly if you have a two-year-old at your side. BEWARE!!!!

01/28/22 I was in this bank today. This place is glassy clean. All staff dressed humbly and elegantly. I spoke to Monika. She resolved the issue fast and precisely. She was doing without any hesitation and without any form of wasting my time. She undoubtedly deserving all stars.

I don’t know people use this bank when you have a bunch of better options on the same street. Honestly they gave money away that didn’t belong to the person they gave it too, it belonged to the estate being that they were rent checks and deposited after the persons death. They have an attitude that is just as ugly as their faces and honestly I wouldn’t do any business with them being that you literally have better options on the same street and they treat u terrible here at citi

Terrible customer service. They never answer the phone no matter the day or time I call which forces me to go in but to no avail. They have little staff there to help in person and I end up spending most of my time in the branch to ask a simple question which never gets addressed.

Bad service, you get there they don't greet you your just literally standing around waiting for "client services" maybe about half an hour into your visit someone will ask you what do you need (this has occurred 3 differ times). Really rude and forget about calling in nobody answers phones at any time. Opened an account and it was a corporate account once it was approved I wasn't contacted by the banker for over a week, I found it that the account was approved 2 days after I opened it by e-mail. However nearly 2 weeks later and the banker never contacted me to issue my corporate card or checks. It's like your begging to give them money. Just an overall negative experience, I opened up a corporate account with Bank of America and will be closing this account. Unfortunately, I cannot have this be my businesses local branch!
