I haven’t read the reviews of this bank now I see they have 2.5 review, I came to bank with my wife to open up a joint bank account the lady over there name laura martinez corona, called us in asked for documents gave her proves of address but she wanted other bank statements no problem sent on her email after waiting 10 mints she didn’t receive nothing which was sent by me 3 times she told systems are encrypted thats why, what the hell you talking about bring the pages you are working for customer services you need to help we came to give you guys bussiness will never think to work with that bank. Citi bank owner look into this matter for better business bereau, you need to put people who. Can help the customers otherwise the bank will stay empty like it is. Thankyou.

Do yourself a favor, do not bank here!!
You will regret it due to their poor service and customer care from rude banker who just started working and doesn’t know his right from left all the way to the manager. Find another bank. This is the honest truth!

Well I should’ve read reviews first before I stepped in to this branch. I walked in and I was waiting if somebody would ask me if I needed help. The only person who asked if was young man who work there as cashier. He told me to wait until one of the of banker would be available. I waited about 25 mins when Riki Katsov asked what I need help with. When I was referring to a paper I was able to obtain from a different City Bank branch last year to see if they would fill out for me which would take 5 mins of her time, she didn’t even look at the form saying we don’t fill out any forms. I had to stop her to explain that this form was obtained last year from their bank because I have an account with them. She stated I don’t know what you are talking about and why don’t you go back to Manhattan and get that form filled at the same branch you got it from. I was shocked by her answer why on the earth living in Brooklyn I have to travel to the City ?! She goes we short of staff and I have now 30 mins lunch. I said I understand but someone should help me here. Finally being incompetent and not knowing what she is doing she went to talk to manager Viktoria Kilomaski. They were talking in Russian and I happened to know Russian. She told her send her away. Manager didn’t even bother to come out to explain to me herself. I came back home and called to customer service to make a complaint. I was transferred to speak to a supervisor who was so helpful. She reached out manager while I was waiting on the line. Finally she told me I can go back to get my form filled out. Geese… when I came back Victoria was a different person who suddenly become so nice to her customers. Why did we have to go through all this stress ?! Why while I was waiting for some help she was sitting in her cubicle texting on her personal phone instead helping us?! Why she couldn’t get up to help me and another lady who was sitting there with me, just because she is careless manager who has zero respect to her customers!

They take you even when you don't have an appointment which is good. It takes them forever to open business accounts which is a huge disadvantage..

On December 1st 2021, I A TOTALLY DISABLED CUSTOMER, went to this Avenue J branch at around 3:00 pm I try to deposit $80 in cash with the teller that is located right on the middle, long hair, glasses, racist attitude towards a disabled customer that has an slight accent. This teller requested my ID, that I happily provided, I did not bring my bank card, but I wrote down for her in anticipation my bank account, THE TELLER TOOK MY MONEY AND ID AND REFUSE TO DEPOSIT MY $80. She them proceed to give me a paper that said WITHDRAWAL not deposit and demanded me to PUT THE NUMBER IN THERE. She also DEMANDED ME to provide my FULL SOCIAL SECURITY, again I am going to deposit $80.00 not hundreds. I explained to her that I am not filling a WITHDRAWAL paper because I AM DEPOSITING $80 ONLY and there wasn't any need from her to hassle me with this. Since I was afraid she was going to scammed me, I asked her to give me my money back, at first she refused, I them told her again to give me my money and Id back, she give me the money but refuse to give me my Id and I told her again that if she doesn't give me the id I will call the Police and immediately she returned my Id. I wanted to take the empty WITHDRAWAL paper with me, I told her I was going to show it to a family member and ..... SHE REFUSED, so if this teller wasn't going to rob me or do anything strange, why she put so many obstacles??? She throw the id on my hands, laugh and I left. Honestly I can't understand the lack of professionalism from this lady working at this branch, she acted bossy, mistreating me just because I have an accent and I had the feeling that she was going to steal my cash instead of depositing my cash, and if she wasn't going to steal my cash, WHY SHE GAVE ME A WITHDRAWAL PAPER IF I AM GOING TO DEPOSIT CASH MONEY?????
