Barry went above and beyond to create a beautiful custom name necklace for my sister's birthday. I flew in from out of state to see Barry in my old Brooklyn neighborhood in the hopes of recreating a necklace my grandmother bought in the 70's. My sister lost her necklace years ago and Barry was responsive and meticulous, working with me over the phone to recreate the design and match the detail perfectly. He even found an old tool used to score the gold like they did back then and the finished product was just perfect! Barry - I can't thank you enough for making this crazy request a reality - and all done in a 24 hour turnaround to make sure i had the necklace on time! I could not have asked for a better experience - beautiful necklace, excellent communication, customer service and attention to detail! Barry is a gem in the business!

My wife and I bought our wedding rings at Frankels' years ago. I just had some resizing and polishing done there, on mine, and it now fits and looks like new. This store is a neighborhood treasure.

I’ve known and bought from this family store for 60 years ! I can only say that I started with Charles ( dad) Harvey ( Oldest son) who became a good friend)and than Barry current owner. You will always get a great diamond or piece of jewelry at a great price backed by this wonderful family!!! It’ maybe Christmas or anytime but it’s always time to go back to Frankels

After my jewler of 40 years retired, he recommended Barry. I know why he did. He is an old school friendly, warm and consientious craftsman. He replaced two stones from my daughter's diamond wedding band, repaired the prongs and tightened all the rest of the prongs on the band. He also tightened the prongs on the main diamond on her engagement ring as well as the ones on the band and cleaned and polished both rings, all for a nominal cost. he even allowed me to sit next to him and watch him work so the rings were never out of my sight. I don't belive you can find a more talented, trustworthy jewler than Barry!

For many years I have purchased beautiful jewelry & had repairs done by Barry the owner. I trust his workmanship & have respect for his knowledge & expertise with jewelry! I brought my broken 53 year old engagement ring to him & he replaced my setting & did an excellent job!? He cleaned & polished my Wedding band to my set also. My rings look brand new ❤ I, my husband, family, & friends, are Wowed!? All this for a reasonable price.! Thank you Barry! You are the best! I highly recommend this jeweler! I’ve been coming to Barry frankel for over 30 years . I continue to go to Him, because I trust him and his staff . I’ve Never had a problem with selling or buying gold jewelry or having it hand made . Most recent I gave barry my mothers engagement ring to be refitted in a bezel setting . Unfortunately the diamond had a big chip. And it was thought to recut the diamond but how much would we lose of the original carat size. ? It was worth the chance . It turned out that we only lost 8 points out of 100 . The picture of the ring could never do it justice Barry continues his family legacy in the fine art of jewelry making
