“My dad has been taking me here since I was a little girl, They used to have another location (W-Nassau) on 61 St. in Maspeth, we used to go there too. This place is a go-to for their stuffed cabbage and Kielbasa (Krajana has always been our favorite). Whenever we visit family, my dad would bring the stuffed cabbage from here, it’s a family favorite. They also have great deli cuts, I included a photo of a ham I picked up. You can also come here for farmer’s cheese, butter, babka and other sweets, and pantry staples like pickled items, and jarred salads. There’s also seasoning and flour, the exact flour I tried to find in Poland but found it here instead!”

“We had the pleasure of serving the Dawn Marie, specialty stuffed veal roast, from Romeo Meats for our Christmas dinner. This beautiful stuffed roast was the centerpiece of our meal. The butcher was kind enough to give us exact cooking directions to ensure the roast came out perfect. We ordered seven ribs for eight adults and the portion size was extremely generous and perfect for our hungry guests. Everyone raved on how delicious and tasty.We look forward to trying another specialty roast for our next holiday. Possibly the Danny Devito!! We highly recommend Romeo Meats for your next holiday or special gathering…. You will be extremely happy.”

They have a large selection of Italian specialties and meats. And of course the food is fresh and delicious. I usually go into the store. But this time I decided to have a delivery. I called on the phone the person who took my order was very nice and took my large order with no problem. When I received my order it was wrapped well and nothing was left out like with some places. The price is very fair for the quality of meat. The steak melts in your mouth and you don't even have to use oil as you can cook the steak in its own fat. “Best place in the area to buy produce! Lots of seasonal and exotic fruits, I get to eat fresh lychee all summer from here. Great prices on fruit and lots of sales so I can stock up and freeze extras. They also have an in-house butcher but sometimes they don’t do the best job at cutting the meats. Still, good prices on meat and I still buy it from here if I’m short on time. Good snack and instant noodle selection as well, I rarely go to supermarkets because Uncle Steve’s already has just about everything!”
