We arrived right at 5 pm when they opened and were seated straight away. It's sad that they're closing their N9 location, but the new place looks stunning. It's great that they have event space in the back so it doesn't shut down for weddings. The service was really attentive, although you could tell they're still getting used to things. We tried the Chef's whim, which they made vegetarian for us. The portions are good for sharing between 2-4 people. The blue cheese was tasty, but the veggies didn't impress much. The pear was a nice surprise for dessert. It was disappointing they don't serve Brussels sprouts anymore, but I'll try more of their dishes next time. The wine selection is good. I had the bubbly and the Riesling. The bubbly wasn't my favorite, but the Riesling was decent, not too sweet. I also tried the Pinot noir and enjoyed it the most.Overall, it's a great place for meeting friends or a date night. It's best to make a reservation unless you want to try your luck early on.

Amazing experience our host was very inviting and fun. Went in to it scared about my lack of wine knowledge. Left the experience knowing wine knowledge isn't whats important enjoying the wine is.

Brooklyn Winery made our wedding dreams come true! We truly could not have asked for a better venue, better service, or a better overall experience. Our planner Julia helped us throughout the entire process and brought our vision to life. Our big day went so smoothly and ALL of our guests raved about the service, food, drinks, and decor. It was the best vibe all night long and we are so thrilled that we chose Brooklyn Winery as our wedding venue. HIGHLY recommend!

We had a 40th birthday at Brooklyn Winery this past weekend and the experience exceeded all expectations! The chef put together a special tasting menu that was unbelievable. They ensured that all dietary restrictions of the party were accommodated for, and went above and beyond in their explanation of ingredients and allergy safety. Our server was fantastic and took great care of us all night by making great wine recommendations and being very attentive to all of our needs. The chef presented the final dish himself which was a lovely treat. The space is beautiful, the wine was excellent, and the food was fantastic. This was all at a very reasonable price as well. We will definitely be back to do the private tasting menu again!

A gem for weddings and celebrations in Brooklyn. A beautiful venue for photos, caring and professional staff and wonderful culinary team. My couples have loved every bit of their experience at Brooklyn Winery.

For many years, we have been acquainted with the winery, frequenting the Kate Prospect Heights restaurant and ordering their delightful wines. Recently, we decided to embark on a wine tasting tour, but little did we know it would turn into a regrettable experience. Our excitement quickly turned to disappointment when we encountered an African American woman who conducted the tour with a complete lack of professionalism. To our dismay, she brought her sick mother along, who sat at our small table, incessantly coughing and blowing her nose. The situation became incredibly uncomfortable, leaving us cringing in our seats. Not only that, but the woman also made inappropriate sexual comments, further adding to our discomfort. As a result of being surrounded by germs in the air, we ended up falling ill. It baffles me why people would choose to leave their homes when they are clearly unwell, subjecting innocent patrons, like us, to their toxic air. Now, I'm not suggesting that you should avoid going on wine tasting tours altogether, but it's crucial to exercise caution in choosing the right tour guide. Unfortunately, we still haven't been able to experience a proper tour of the winery. Instead, we spent 98% of our time seated, only getting up once to catch a glimpse of a single machine.

Brooklyn winery was our top choice for wedding venue! We ended up booking it based on the renderings and despite being a little nervous we had confidence in the aesthetic, the look of their older location and the team we met with. They did not disappoint! Julia (our coordinator) was receptive, professional, available and very knowledgeable. She made the day event and planning SEAMLESS! The venue itself is beyond gorgeous! The plant wall and the rustic vibes mixed with a very modern look made my vision come to fruition.Every guest we had could not stop compliment the look, the food and the drinks. There were NO complaints! We highly recommend this venue!

When we heard Brooklyn Winery had moved... we were a little skeptical. We loved photographing weddings in their original space, filled with thoughtful details and, of course, the plant wall. BUT after photographing a wedding in their new location earlier this year, it's safe to say we are obsessed! Across the board, the staff was so incredibly nice and helpful. The space captured all the charm of the old place, but upgraded in size. Plus, you cannot beat the location right off McCarren Park. Even though as Brooklyn locals we know all the best spots to photograph, the venue was so beautiful inside, we could have done everything there! We cannot wait to photograph more weddings here in the upcoming year (:

Where to begin with Brooklyn Winery!? The space, the staff, the food, the wine -- all of it was beyond our wildest dreams for our wedding. We’ve never worked with a kinder, more accommodating, and lovely group of people. If you’re searching for a wedding venue in NYC, Brooklyn Winery should absolutely be #1 on your list. The space: A perfect combination of modern and vintage. There are cozy little details everywhere you look, organic greenery throughout the space, clean industrial lines, and the wallpaper in the bathrooms is NEXT LEVEL. There’s a reason people refer to the bathroom as the “selfie station.” The ambiance at our wedding was perfectly warm & cozy thanks to the impeccable decor at Brooklyn Winery. Also, they designed this place with events in mind. There is a flow to the layout that just works. Over six hours we moved 80+ guests from room to room without any confusion or awkward pauses. The consideration that went into this space is evident in every detail; the seamless way everything flows together is simply flawless. The staff: I don’t think I can fully express our gratitude for the hard work, dedication, accommodation, and positivity that every single person working at Brooklyn Winery exhibited throughout the course of planning and celebrating our wedding. No matter who we interacted with, they had a smile on their face, and went out of their way to help us with whatever we needed.Julia, our amazing event manager, went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect and exactly what we envisioned. She was extremely responsive, detail oriented, calming, and her years of experience made the entire process stress-free for us. With so many moving pieces that go into planning a wedding, Julia made sure no detail was missed. She truly made the wedding of our dreams a reality. The food: Wedding food can be hit or miss, but let us tell you, the food at the Brooklyn Winery absolutely blew us away. They had SO many options that we were struggling to choose – this was by far the most difficult aspect of wedding planning. A few members of our family have serious allergies, and the Winery staff went out of their way to accommodate and make sure they were still getting amazing food. No one felt like a burden or an obstacle, and it was such a relief for us to see our most restricted guests chowing down on their meals with gusto. Our final wedding menu was hit after hit after hit, from cocktail hour to dessert. The biggest highlights for us were the devils on horseback, speck toast, fried chicken, and braised short rib. In the four weeks since our wedding we have heard so many compliments specifically about the food – it really exceeded all expectations. The wine: We couldn’t leave a review about a winery without mentioning the wine. Made directly on site, there was a wine for everyone. Our favorite was the unoaked chardonnay – the best chardonnay around!! And the Winery serves each course with a paired wine, adding another special level to the dining experience. We were thrilled to order private label wine favors for our guests, sending everyone home with a bottle to enjoy later. We were so excited that this was an option because we got to design labels that featured illustrations of our cats – a sweet way to include them in our wedding!Overall, Brooklyn Winery transformed something as big, chaotic, stressful, and crazy as a wedding into the smoothest possible experience. Their dedication and obvious pride in what they do shines through in every interaction. No detail was overlooked in designing this space and imagining the weddings that would take place in it. The staff at Brooklyn Winery made our wedding absolutely perfect and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you for giving us the best day of our lives!!

We visited the Brooklyn Winery in November as part of the wine tasting and winery tour experience which we purchased. Wow! What a great experience! The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable and incredibly insightful for someone like me, who knew nothing about wine. I went in with a strong dislike of red wine and left as a fan!The wine is of fantastic quality, flavour, and variety. Every wine we tried was 10/10 for me. So much so that we made sure to purchase some at the end to take home with us!The host was incredibly personable and knowledgeable, and despite there being only the two of us that evening, she was very accommodating and animated. I have to say I learned so much coming away from that experience. Particularly how to really taste wine, appreciating the aromas and how it tastes on the palette. And also an understanding of the regions of where the grape is grown.Afterwards, we had booked a table in the adjoining restaurant - Rosette. The food was incredible and a perfect pairing with a glass of the wine we had just sampled. All in all, a perfect way to spend an evening in Brooklyn. I would encourage you to experience it for yourself!

I photographed Bridget and Brad's beautiful wedding here in the spring. I highly recommend it! They did a great job switching from the ceremony set up to the reception set up. I love the variety of photos I as a photographer was able to take of the couple. Always love doing photos by the wine barrels.

Our wedding day at Brooklyn Winery was an absolute dream come true. The venue's rustic elegance set the perfect tone for our magical day. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, and the drinks were a hit with our guests. A special shoutout goes to Julia, our incredible wedding coordinator, who made everything seamless and stress-free. Her meticulous planning and warm demeanor allowed us to savor every moment without a worry. Our friends and family had a blast, and we were truly able to immerse ourselves in the joy of the celebration. Brooklyn Winery, along with the amazing team and Julia, made our wedding a memory we'll forever cherish.

This really was an outstanding experience. We had no idea what to expect from a winery located in Brooklyn (not too many vineyards here,) but boy were we happily surprised. Both the wine and the food were wonderful, full of subtle tastes and overtones. The space itself is lovely with high ceilings and low lighting. Very highly recommended.

I was biking through Williamsburg when I stumbled across the winery. They aren't too many in NYC. Well at least at the time I came across it. I had a few drinks and toured the space. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I look forward to going back. I took some photos of the space that I forgot about. See below.
