Title: Beware of Counterfeit Goods: A Warning for Consumers
Recently, I had a distressing encounter at a gas station located on Bath Ave and Bay Parkway (11214). My routine stop for gas and a quick pick-me-up turned into a frustrating ordeal when I discovered that the cigarettes I purchased were counterfeit.
Not only was I charged an exorbitant $18.50 for a pack of American Spirit cigarettes, but upon closer inspection, it became evident that they were fake. When I brought this to the attention of the employee, I was met with indifference from the entire staff behind the counter. It’s alarming to realize that this is not an isolated incident but rather a widespread problem plaguing many gas stations, delis, and smoke shops.
The prevalence of counterfeit goods in such establishments is not only a financial scam but also a threat to public health and safety. These fake products not only deceive consumers but also jeopardize their well-being. Moreover, the brazen attitude of the employees, who shrugged off my concerns, underscores the urgent need for action against such unethical practices.
It’s disheartening to see no immediate repercussions for these businesses that are blatantly exploiting consumers and endangering public health. I urge fellow consumers to exercise caution and vigilance when making purchases, especially at establishments known for selling counterfeit goods.
In light of this experience, I encourage authorities to take decisive action against businesses involved in selling counterfeit merchandise. Consumers deserve to shop with confidence, knowing that they are purchasing genuine products that meet safety and quality standards. Let’s work together to combat this pervasive issue and protect the integrity of our marketplace.

6/17/23 2:35 PM The gas station cashier was very rude and disrespectful to customers and to other workers. Verbally harassed customers who were trying to seek help with their order and harassed a fellow worker who was trying to help customers out. The Dunkin Donuts cashier was very kind. I just wished the work environment was better for the kind worker and the customers.

Disclaimer! The review is regarding the gas station employee not the dunkin donut that operates in the same establishment. If you attempt to enter the business early morning around 2-3am (approximate) for any reason, the gas station employee will approach you and confront you in a rude way at the door(which is locked-even though it's 24/7). I understand that the employee is mopping/cleaning or busy with the chores like every other establishments. But it's the employee's attitude/approach that leaves a bad taste on customers. I have been using this gas station for few years and I see few customers being refused the services. Not recommended and hopefully if the manager/owner is reading this post please advise your employee(overnight shift) to be respectful.

As every other gas station, everything is overpriced which is to be expected, but people working there are not even nice. Bought a couple of things and while it was pouring outside wasn't even asked if I wanted a bag, even though I came in soaking wet which you would think is an obvious tell that I'm on foot and not on a car. I asked for a bag, but the person working there says it's .25 cents after I already paid while proceeding to talk to his coworker without even waiting for my response. I don't mind paying for a bag. However, it would have been nice to be asked if I would like one ahead of time so I can pay for everything at once. I ended up just walking out in the pouring raining holding my stuff in my hands. Luckily I live very close by but I doubt I will be returning.
