On my journey on going to many different Blink gyms as possible. This location, while not the most condensed but I've been to bigger. My main one in Ozone Park is 35% bigger in comparison. I do give this place credit, either that or I got lucky, all of the machines were in working order and despite the crowdedness of the place, I didn't have to wait exceptionally long to get to a machine. All in all, above average.

I've come to this location in the past, and I've never had trouble there. The staff are always welcoming and willing to help with whatever questions you may have. Also, the cleanliness is on point at all hours of the day, from what I've witnessed. It's impressive

Been coming here for 4 years. Great gym but terrible music. Couldn't be much worse. It's like they want you to go insane with old covers of mediocre songs

I have been doing personal training sessions with Diana for a few months and it has been great so far. They are kind, motivating, patient, and very supportive of my strength training goals. Diana has developed a fitness plan to help track my progress and provides guidance along the way. I would highly recommend doing PT with them!

I’ve been coming to this location for a few years on and off. Overall the staff is kind and the space is clean. Can get a bit crowded but that’s the nature since there are not many gyms in the area. To make the most of my time, I find it super helpful to work with a trainer. I’ve worked with Craig who’s amazing and now Diana, who is super knowledgeable, motivating and professional. I always leave feeling accomplished!

Great gym, good location, the staff Alex and Matt are great.I had a PT session with Matt who was knowledgeable and had a strong understanding of scientific literature for optimizing my particular lifting routine.Only complaint is that it's always busy.

Worst experience as a personal trainer. First Katie and Ari take over two weeks to get my uniform and materials ready, which took away potential pay from me. This gym can't even afford to get their trainers the right uniforms. Then Ari tries to blackmail me by secretly recording me with her phone. These managers are some of the most incompetent people I've ever worked for. Now, they've blackballed me from future job opportunities. This gym is a joke for anyone trying to become a serious personal trainer. I highly recommend looking somewhere else.Update: I recently had to file 6 months worth of chargebacks because they are still charging me for a membership. How am I supposed to cancel if I can't return to the gym? This franchise is a parasite in the neighborhood.

I've been training with Krishna at Blink Fitness on Gates Avenue in Brooklyn since the start of the year, and the results have been astounding. His expertise has transformed my confidence, strength, and workout knowledge despite working out just once a week.Krishna's tailored approach stands out. His in-depth understanding of exercises and form ensured every session was effective and engaging. What sets Krishna apart is his educational style. He not only demonstrates exercises but explains their benefits and mechanics, boosting my fitness comprehension and self-assurance.Under Krishna's guidance, my physique and confidence have drastically improved. His unwavering support creates a motivating atmosphere. For exceptional results and a knowledgeable, supportive trainer, Krishna is the top choice at Blink Fitness on Gates Avenue. His approach fosters physical and mental growth, making each workout more than just exercise.

I’ve been coming for a little over a year. This gym is… adequate, considering that it’s only $10 a month. But there are some negatives:-extremely loud (and bad, garbage top 40) music at inhumane volumes. I can’t even hear my own headphones over it they play it so loud-extremely crowded. It doesn’t matter if it’s summer, winter, 10am, 10pm, 8pm, or noon. You WILL be waiting for every single piece and type of equipment in here.-speaking of which, the equipment constantly is broken and out of order. In conclusion, this gym is fine for the price, but they mainly survive cause they’re the only gym in the neighborhood.

Blink is good in general, but I’m really surprise with their maintenance plan, one of these work machines has been damage since January 2023 and the other one like 2 months ago… so, my question is: how is this posible? so, my opinion is that in some point Blink doesn’t care to offer an excellent service..

I am sorry to update this review and really hate leaving negative reviews, but this location has gone downhill. Leg extension machine, seated leg curl machine, two stair masters, countless treadmills out of service for weeks, not enough benches and the ones they have are loose, people using squat racks for over an hour just to jump rope at 5 a.m., inferior equipment compared to other Blink locations are all making it harder to keep going to this location. Time to fix the broken machines , get updated ones, fix the loose benches, add more benches, and make sure the power racks are used for people that are actually squatting.

So many of the machines are just broken, with no word on when they will be fixed. It’s at the point where I cannot complete exercise routines and need to visit another location. There’s are groups of men here who hog sets of machines for at least an hour without letting anyone work in. They essentially bully people out of being able to work out here. There aren’t any other options for gyms nearby so it is incredibly disappointing the one near me is actively hostile and unusable.

It's a great gym with great staff that keep it super clean.Kinda disappointed with the personal trainer system at blink. This was my third attempt with trying the personal trainer that all ended up being no-shows.The app shouldn't be allowed to schedule a session because, apparently, you also need to call blink and then call the personal trainer? Didn't find out until the day of -_-

Dear Blink management, you must encourage control and have systems for everyone to feel safe, comfortable and respected in their spaces. It's been a while for me at this gym since covid. It doesn't feel safe and comfortable anymore. They are particular groups of men in this gym who are regularly working out, and not sure why they seem like they hang around for extended periods. They are retaining the machines for their friends. Some of them seem aggressive and disrespectful. I was on a thread mill today and noticed one of them bullying and slurring words to a woman because she would not get off the machine he was not using earlier and walked off to chat with someone else. I was like, “Wow.”He covers his face all the time and act aggressively. Some of the members also are not easy when using the machine. They sit on them and inconvenience other people. You are not using it; move and sit elsewhere so others can use it.
