Simply the best pharmacy around. They are knowledgeable and eager to assist anyone. The pharmacy is also well-stocked. You are greeted with a smile upon entering and made to feel valued as a customer.

A perfect pharmacy. Very nice people, and you will directly support a family not a huge business like walgreens. And unlike walgreens you will never have to wait for super long times and have issues like having a medication not be filled even if you called it in. Such a great pharmacy!

I've been using Behrens for twenty years and there's nothing like this family owned and operated Pharmacy. They know who I am and what troubles I've had in the past. They call when I have a prescription I need to pick up. They take care of their customers, there's always a smile and a "How are you doing today?"-welcome, and they're honestly concerned and caring attitude isn't fake. They really care for their neighbors. If you have a concern or a question about a medication they take the time to explain and make sure you understand. I've had to use other pharmacies like CVS, Walgreens and the difference between dealing with a family business and corporate monolithic company is that you're known and the pharmacists are more than pill pushers.

Good except for not open on Sundays when you provide a critical service. Also, they opened 15 minutes after their 10AM nonchalantly… you’re a pharmacy not a convenience store.

This pharmacy is great until they fill your prescriptions and find a reason to discriminate against you based on your medication. A pharmacy that mistreats its customers based specifically on assumptions about their medications is one that shouldn't be allowed to conduct business at all. I liked them a lot; They were very kind and welcoming to me during all my visits until the moment I had my first prescription filled. Feels awful.

I went in there to get a vaccine. I am physically disabled and they were so rude to me because I was disabled (telling me to wait outside, to walk slowly, be careful) that I left.

I love Behrens. Even though we've moved from Fort Greene to Bed Stuy we still go here for our drug store supplies and prescriptions. Support the little guy and forget about Walgreens!

Behrens is a great, caring organized and friendly pharmacy. I've lived here 50 years, since 1971. The place was owned by (presumably) the Behrens family then, and their current successors - who have been here for years and years - know their neighbors and are concerned about their health and care. We love these guys.
