This is long overdue. 3 yrs ago, Chris Malone, took me through the process of leasing my first car. And just earlier this year, he guided me through the purchase of my first car. I could not have asked for a more informative and patient person to take me through it all. Chris is honest, straightforward and super patient with any and all questions. Overall, the experience at Subaru was and continues to be great. Very happy customer!! Thank you Chris and Subaru!

Hi
Recently changed an oil at their service
After getting my car back found document compartment on the floor
Seats ,floor mats never been covered
They fixed it after my notice
But nobody apologized for that
And that leads to questions about their quality
Not recommending to friends for service

Checked online to see which vehicles were available at the lot or the store. Saw exactly what I wanted, a Crosstrek, base edition. Called a couple days ahead to schedule an appointment at the dealership on Friday afternoon. When I got there, I was greeted by friendly staff, offered coffee and a seat. I sat down with Gerald W., and we started talking about different Crosstreks available. Gerald was very helpful and resourceful. After I explained that I simply wanted the base model we quickly got on the road for a test drive. Afterwards, we sat back down at his desk to start processing documents, the whole experince took less than 2 hours. Gerald told me the Crosstrek with the color I wanted was in their warehouse in Staten Island, and he personally went out to Staten Island later that day and drive it back to Bay Ridge. The next day, Saturday, I returned with my last documents, spend another 1.5 hours there with Gerald and one of his closing managers to complete the purchase. This was very smooth, very fast, simple agreements and good deals. I like that this dealership is an official Subaru location, has a service garage and they offered included oil changes for life. I would definitely recommend this dealership if you want a Subaru.

I had a great experience at Bay Ridge Subaru, thanks to Joyce in the service department. She made my oil change quick and hassle-free, providing excellent customer service throughout. Joyce was friendly, efficient, and made sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommend her for any service needs!

This was the most enjoyable experience I’ve ever had buying a car. I traded in an older vehicle and drove away with a new Subaru in just a few painless hours. Halida, who runs the showroom, is the friendliest person in Bay Ridge. She is kind, sincere and so helpful. Gerald, the car salesman, is easy-going and extremely knowledgeable. The team all welcomed my dog and make me feel at home. I’ll never go anywhere else when dealing with my car. I want to go back and visit!!!!

It has been many years since my last car purchase. I wanted something fun for weekend trips out of NYC, and the WRX was the perfect combination of performance, comfort, and style for my needs. The staff at Bay Ridge Subaru made my buying experience a pleasant and low-stress one. I worked with Gerald is sales mainly, but I had the chance to meet Michael the dealership manager, Saheer in finance, and Halida and Lillian in BDC. They throughly answered all of my questions. Special shout-out for the dealership honoring pricing and promotions from the website, and a low-pressure sales atmosphere. Thank you very much, you all made me a very happy lady!

Unprofessional and untrustworthy. Seek out another Subaru dealer before coming here.
I was supposed to get my car in beginning of October and was excited about it. October came and passed no phone call no updates of any kind. I’ve called over 5 times so far and dealt with different associates each time telling me “it’ll be here soon”. I didn’t even want the car at that point.
* update on my review. I ended up getting my car from here because everything was already ordered. If you’re looking to purchase, come with a lawyer or go elsewhere. This specific dealership is very questionable
Associate named Roy helped my family and I and he was blatantly rude toward us for asking questions. He was trying to bamboozle us so we started asking questions, then he switched up very fast. You should ask many questions when buying a new car; especially at this specific dealership

Always a bad experience with the service department. Multiple times my service visits have taken longer than anticipated and the cost is always high. Special shout out to the service manager, Dr. No with a dog. He's seemingly never willing to make reasonable allowances for customers when they've been misinformed or inconvenienced.

My wife took my 2016 Subaru Legacy to this dealership today to repair a broken horn. The repair took several hours to complete. The bill came to about $530, but my extended warranty covered about half of it. I liked that the dealership notified me about other maintenance items that the car will need in the near future, but they also advised me that those other maintenance items were not urgent. This reassured me that they were not trying to trick me into paying for services that were not necessary.
