I was cheated for my business contract with him; He gave me quote for $150.00 a hour for moving service and the minimum was 4 hours for $600.00. The moving took 2 hours and left all of my clothing and lot of my things. He charge me $590.00. He will not give me a receipt. He gave me an invoice and will not sign it. I had to find someone else to move my things. He cheated me out of $290.00.

My mother hired these people to move. They immediately demanded money from an 84 year old senior and stole multiple items including a stereo, her eye glasses and a computer monitor. Instead of a proper receipt for the 590 dollars, he leaves one for $5.90. As she was working with the police and DA regarding this move we will be informing them.

This Barry’s moving are thieves they stole all my expensive Ralph Lauren T.shirts broke my t.v and lots of my things missing. I called Barry himself several he keeps say billshit.

No issues. Gave me a really good quote from a NY to TX move. Only thing is that had to pay more($300) on top of the original quote for a shuttle but the original quote was so good wasn't a huge deal for me.

This is the WORST moving services EVER I repeat the WORST if you can get your self someone else please do so do NOT contact this people they not only damage one of my furniture I been calling Mrs Barry my self about the arrangement to fix what they broke and he been going around in circle with a bunch of LIES.. they are not professional at all it's almost been a year since I move and no one from this company had been in touch with me this is such a shame.

Don't waste the air you breathe on this sorry excuse for a moving company. Don't bother communicating a start time.....they won't show....don't have the audacity to expect professionalism, it doesn't exist at Barry's Moving. Please do not try to locate Barry when his crew is late...he won't answer text messages and all your calls will be rejected with a "sorry can't talk now" system generated response. Save yourself the aggravation...do not...do not...do not utilize Barry's Moving....you were warned!! Zero stars with a thumbs down. Oh one more thing...the moving crew will demand coffee even though they will be one hour or more late.....these guys need to transport alligators NOT your personal belongings.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!!!!!! Had an appointment for 5am today...the movers showed up at after 6am WITH ATTITUDE demanding coffee!!!! The nerve!!!! When coffee was not provided...THEY LEFT me and my kids hanging (well, they thought they did) !!!!! Made plans for about a month with owner "Barry"....he failed to notify me they were unable to come for 5am....His lead guy, maybe it's his son....is nasty, unprofessional, with an EXTREMELY sour mood!!! The devil himself!!!!! Thankfully, I found another service the moment they left. Spend your hard earned money...elsewhere. Oh..one last thing...when they were late I kept calling Barry...no return calls...only auto text saying "Sorry can't answer now".....THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL EVER!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! Zero stars!!!!!

If I could give this 0 stars I would. This was the most unprofessional moving company. This company is horrible. The owner does not answer emails and when he does it's a one word response. Never gave clear requirements and instructions. Driver showed up to pick up my stuff and had no room in the truck, plus he indicated he was only told to pick up one item. Had to pay additional months storage fee and when I told the owner he never responded. Finally after a number of tries driver picked up my stuff and would not unload unless he was paid in full. Owner told me it wasn't his problem that he never informed me that final payment in cash had to be made before the truck could be unloaded and that I should have known. On top of all the non-communication and unprofessionalism my furniture was damaged. I would never reccomend this business. I like to support small businesses but this was the worst experience ever!!

If there was a way to rate a company 0 this would be it. This is the biggest garbage heap of a company I have ever experienced. My items were picked up on September 7th in Connecticut to be taken to Miami. I received a call on the 22 advising that my items were intransit to be delivered later that day then they called back to say they would be there Saturday which is not allowed in my condo, they agreed to Monday, when I called Monday at 1pm they said they would be there Tuesday because their truck broke. Tuesday I called at 12 only to be told the truck was still broken. I later received a call at 3:15 saying they were an hour away having been advised several times that there can be no deliveries after 4pm. They told me they had to leave Florida and my stuff would be thrown into a warehouse. The items were finally delivered on Friday September 27, they showed up at 230pm and refused to unload the items until they were paid in full. multiple items were missing, handmade Furniture were damaged and my area rugs were soaking wet. If anyone reading this knows how to have this business closed down and stop ripping people off please please let me know. What was worse is that the Delivery people recommended that I use another company to move my office to Florida.
