I was in NYC for a quickie holiday trip. I brought all of my old 14K gold necklaces from high school, broken chains and pieces of earrings...just 14K junk! Because I love bangles and can't seem to get them in California I wondered if there was a chance the Balkarans could make some for me with my used gold. My dream became reality!! In 24 hours I had the most beautiful carved West Indian bangles on my wrist. These jewelers are the most talented artists I have ever encountered. The work was professional and fast; beautiful and detailed. If you are ever in NY and want unique bangles make the trip to Balkaran in Brooklyn; new location 871 Flatbush (next to Dunkin' Donuts). They also do on-the-spot repairs. I love you guys!!
