Cute little shop selling a variety of gifts and trinkets. I was visiting my friend and wanted to buy something local from the neighborhood. I got a Brooklyn-made candle and a Feminist shirt for my daughter. They also have other kids toys, stationery, jewelry and games/books too.

This is such a great spot! So many cute and quirky little things. Great for finding random little gifts and sprucing up your mug and candle collection. Everyone who works there is super friendly too!

Nice gift store in the area. Awesome Brooklyn has a lot of neat gifts and balloons. More witty offerings and politico merch then other stores or chain stores. They have some great AOC & RBG merch. They also carry some unique Brooklyn items like trays, bags, postcards, patches, and more. I always like stopping in and seeing what’s new here. The cashier was friendly too. They’re always really helpful if I have questions. It’s a nice store that’s pretty fair on pricing. Some thing seems a little much but befitting for the city and gift shops. It’s a nice neighborhood addition though and they have a home goods store down the road. Come by and check it out and get your next awesome gift! ?

One of my favorite local stores! I go here whenever I need a gift or card for someone. Also love their bigger home goods store down the street. Always have the cutest stuff, and everyone who works there is so nice.

The Good: - Lots of funky, corky trinkets, cards and what not - Great for when you need a whisicle gift or card in a pinch - Very forward thinking, liberal and feminist - Staff is nice The Meh: - It's a pretty solid sign of gentrification in the neighborhood I grew up in - Serves a very niche market with no homage to the existing community - Reference the review by Gerard S. ... pretty funny yet spot on. - Kinda feel a way about a store named Awesome Brooklyn that doesn't reflect any of the struggle, culture and history of Brooklyn and/or Flatbush

I love to shop small and follow awesome Brooklyn on social media, it didn't disappoint when I visited the shop to do some Christmas shopping. They have fun finds that are unique. Can't wait to go back again and also visit awesome home.
