I really enjoy living here. I've submitted a few maintenance requests since moving in and Gabriel has been great at explaining how he is resolving the issue and prompt at resolving it. The leasing and front desk staff are friendly and great to work with. Highly recommend if you want easy living.

I came to visit a friend from college who just moved to NY. I grew up not too far away in Clinton Hill, but haven’t really been inside of these newer buildings by the bridge. The view from his apartment was amazing! Great location.Kenyon at the front desk was super friendly and acknowledged everyone that walked in and out. While I was talking to him on my way out, a tenant came to him about a problem in their unit and Kenyon showed great patience and made sure the tenant knew she was being taken care of. Avalon Bay’s got an amazing community here!

I had the pleasure of encountering Kenyon, the front door man at the Ava building, and I must say, his service was exceptional. Kenyon's kindness and warm demeanor made me and my brother feel truly welcomed right from the start.In a world where patience seems to be a rare virtue, Kenyon stood out with his remarkable patience and understanding. He went above and beyond to ensure that our needs were met and that we felt comfortable in the building. His genuine care for the residents and visitors is evident in every interaction.I sincerely wish that more people possessed the same level of patience and kindness as Kenyon. His presence at the Ava building is a true asset, and the residents are incredibly fortunate to have him as their front door man.Thank you, Kenyon, for your outstanding service and for making our experience at the Ava building a memorable one. Lived there for 2 years. We moved out last month, and a couple of weeks before the moving, they did a pre move out inspection, in which a maintenance person checked out the apartment and told me everything looked good, and signed a paper with all checkmarks.We moved out about a week before our lease ended, we hired the cleaning service, and about 3 weeks later we received our security deposit check... minus 400 dollars of "paint/damages". I understand the apartment has to be painted and restored for the next tenants, but that's the usual wear and tear. Some of walls were just stained because the dog plays, furniture leaning, etc. No damage, no perforations, no dents. And they charge 400 dollars to paint "an extra layer"? Is this a common practice they do?
