I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received at AutoZone branch #5280 on June 13, 2024.
I believe this incident requires your immediate attention and action by AutoZonemanagement.
During my visit, I sought to exchange a set of Duralast DE536 brake pads under lifetime warranty. However, the store manager, Luis Caballero, refused to honor the warranty. He claimed the refusal was due to one brake pad “rubbing metal on metal.” This assertion was inaccurate, as the brake pad in question showed no signs of metal contact. Instead, it had a clear defect: a peeled-off friction pad.
Mr. Caballero’s behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful. He not only refused the exchange but also rudely discarded the brake pads near the trash can outside the store. Additionally, he made derogatory comments about the Duralast products, suggesting customers should not buy "cheap parts" like those.
I kindly request a formal clarification regarding AutoZone’s stance on the quality of Duralast products. Specifically, does the negative opinion expressed by your employee reflect AutoZone’s official position on Duralast products? Furthermore, is Duralast management aware of such derogatory comments from AutoZone employees about their products?
I trust that AutoZone values its customers and stands by the quality of the products it sells. I expect a prompt resolution to this matter, including an apology for the poor service and a replacement of the defective brake pads as per the warranty terms.

I needed a new battery and salesman gave me and my vehicle's need 100% percent of his attention. He took pride and care in removing and replacing my cars battery. Salesman was knowledgeable and skilled in battery replacement. After job was done my vehicle started with no issue. Thank you AutoZone for time patience and care for my vehicle's need, job well done.
