“Super helpful- employees always direct me right to what I needed and give me some context around my purchase. Selection seems tremendous, though I’m usually looking for pretty specific items.”
10AM - 6PM
761 Metropolitan Ave, Brooklyn“One of my favorite places in the whole world. An art store for the community run by artists ? Everyone always talks about places that are long since closed but I remember them all and A&C is like what if they were kind and welcoming, too.”
“This shop is an absolute staple on Court Street! They have a very solid selection of art supplies, which I buy from constantly. I recently got a framed piece of antique art repaired here - they not only did it SO fast but were very friendly and so knowledgable! Very excited to bring more items needing frames here!”
“Outstanding materials and craftsmanship on frames and stretching. The expandable frames for linen are game changers - enabling me to work on the surface that I love without worrying about how sensitive it is to the environment. Everyone I've interacted with in the shop is extremely helpful and responsive whenever I have a question. Can't recommend more highly!”
“We celebrated our daughter's 8th birthday here and the party was such a success! Everyone had a blast and we felt like the staff were very friendly helpful patient and available to all the kids. This is a great place to have a creative artistic birthday for the kids and to just paint in general. The place is full of so much creativity and the owner was very nice. It was a pleasant experience. Just coming in to paint is also an option for artists and there's a store inside that is full of unique creative stuff that kids will love.”
“It’s a nice store has a lot of options for crafts supplies. Definitely worth checking out. Staff is very helpful and they know their way around so they can quickly find things for you. I also recommend calling them before going to ask if they have what you’re looking for just to save you a trip. But if you’re just browsing and not sure what you want, definitely check it out.”

746 Manhattan Ave, Brooklyn“P&P is the best. I get everything printed there, do all my shipping and get lots of art supplies and last minute things I need for shipments for my business. They have the best attitude and are always so helpful. Highly recommend coming here.”
“It's an art supply store that sells interesting art supplies that you can enjoy with your eyes.I was also impressed by the staff's courteous response. It has become my favorite place.I want to go there again when I visit New York!”
“If your looking for a great local art store, Apple art is perfect! However if your a pratt student looking for cheap supplies you should be a little more cautious. Prices vary wildly in comparison to Blick art supplies. Holbien Gouache, for example, is much cheaper at Apple art, but Apple art often will more expensive basics like charcoal pencils. Overall I try to shop more at Apple art because supporting local businesses is a good thing, and often the price difference isn't enough to justify one over the other.”
“Super helpful and friendly staff. More geared towards education level supplies but definitely have a substantial selection of professional grade supplies as well. Will return.”
“I was struggling to find a replacement for Frame Me after it closed and was lucky to stop in here. These guys couldn't be nicer. John framed an old map print and photo for me. Both are awesome work and were very reasonably priced. I'll definitely be back.”

102 Smith St, Brooklyn“Beautiful store on Smith St. near Pacific St., Downtown Brooklyn. I haven't shopped here much but every time I go in the staff is pleasant and helpful. Recently visited because I needed a new date planner and could not find one in Barnes and Noble nearby.”
“The framing experience was great. They were super helpful and patient in helping me pick the right solution. They communicated clearly and proactively. I would recommend this location for this service.”
9AM - 9PM
410 Gateway Dr, Brooklyn“They did a great job at framing some picture art that i bought online, and they look wonderful on the boxed frames Michael's put them on. They explained where they needed to cut or fold, and everything came out beautiful. Thank you so much, Michael's.”
“Talas was recommended to me by an experiences preservationist friend. This is my second order for supplies. It has shipped very quickly. The first order was for supplies to conserve and store family documents. We were very pleased with the quality of the products in the first order, hence a reorder for more of the same! I trust Talas for quality products and their recommendations.”
