Every time I enter the bank and wait by the cubicles for assistance the manager who sits up front closest to the entrance NEVER says she will be with me shortly nor does she EVER say welcome to Apple bank. Each time I required assistance from a branch manager, this same manager never gives me eye contact. After 10 minutes of waiting, she says while still looking at her computer screen, in a stern voice, "can I help you?"
On another occasion she called me after waited 10 minutes this time as well-still without eye contact while looking at her computer screen. I told her I had to get my ID from my car which was parked across the street. When I returned, she left her desk and was in the back where the safe deposit boxes are. She remained there for so long that another representative had to assist me.
On another occasion I witnessed a customer waiting for a manager who was helping him to return. He said, " I am waiting so long, she just left me." That same manager who sits by the entrance asked the man, "Can I help you?" The customer explained that he was being helped by another manager but . she left him and said he was waiting for 8-10 minues. The manager said to him "No, you've been waiting three minutes." There is one very understanding, knowledgeable and helpful representative. As you enter the bank, she sits on the left side in the back cubicle. She's always accommodating.

I write positive reviews on most places, but this has to be my first negative review in years. This is the second time in 6 months, the teller, Tijin Asghar, was giving me a rude lecture on how I should organize the cash before deposit. After the first time 6 months ago, I purposely avoided going to her. This time, even I didn't go to her, she came to the other teller and complain. She goes on complaining about when a stack of 100 was missing one, going for a 15 minutes. Guess what, there was no other customer in the bank the entire time. If she hates counting cash so much, she should find another job. Everyone else in the bank is nice, that's why I left it at two stars.

Terrible customer service over the phone by Fatima Smith. She was rude, disrespectful and not very informative on the opening of my new account. She purposely hung up the phone on me and said when I called back that “the conversation ended”. She also mentioned she was the manager of that branch. Whoever is above her, look into ALL her phone conversations because now that branch is no longer welcoming.

Disrespectful and rude. Both bank tellers were behind the desk and looking down. I’m waiting for someone to look up and see if their are any customers. Like me?? They finally realize that they need to do their job and help customers. If I didn’t need a second bank I wouldn’t bother going here. Every time I come here this place is Empty! No customers. Gee I wonder why? Don’t bother coming here. This bank is irresponsible

Help your customers. I opened an IRA is the 80's and even though they have verified I am the owner of the account, they refuse to help me get my account number and I need distribution of the funds. Worst customer service people ever. Calling Banking commission to see how I should proceed.

Yelena Bondarchuk from 405 Brighton Beach Brooklyn branch is an example of the true and genuine customer service. She is super knowledgeable about banking products, she helps customer make decisions, and she takes her time listening to the customer. She treats customers as educated consumers not sales numbers. Excellent, excellent service. Bravo, Apple Bank! Yelena is truly representing your bank well and makes a difference for customers.
