Receptionist turned away me and my 16 year old dog with heart failure who was vomiting, noting they aren’t an ER and told me to go to my vet. Unacceptable and unethical. She didn’t ask a vet in the back but made the call herself.

My poodle Scout was treated with utmost care and professionalism by the entire staff and Dr. Ninette Ibrahim. She was honest in breaking down the cost and what my options were. Grateful that they are here after all these years. He is now doing well.. thank you !!

I like the staff and price but the wait is so ridiculous I’ve waited 4 hours and I got there before they opened

Great Vet Ninette Ibrahim. The only issue is that the waiting is very long sometimes. I can't go to her currently because it's too far for my cat who gets car sick, but if I lived closer, that would be my #1 vet to go to. Prices are reasonable, too.

Unfortunately, I had to say goodbye to this little gem. Their prices are affordable, but that's only if you're ever seen. The wait was horrendous, and I mean long. Over 5 hours. I waited on two separate occasions and couldn't wait another day. Staff is very kind and receptive, but the wait ✋️ was really made me go elsewhere. I had been a customer of this clinic with my former dog ? for most of her life. I strongly suggest switching to scheduled Apts ? for a better flo. Sitting in a small waiting ✋️ room with many animals can be trying and traumatic for your pet. The place could use a face-lift. Although this clinic is in a busy area I have always gotten parking and loved that a pet shop was right next door. Recently a Bodega too just opened so if you are there long for vet service you can grab a bite, that is ofcourse if you ever get your pet seen. Good luck waiting.

Most disrespectful experience. Not only did I have to wait 5 hours for a vet to see my 13 year old cat. But when I finally did get into the vet and put my cat, that was in her carrier on the table, the assistant asked me if “she was good” I responded with “she is good but scared”. As I am explaining to the vet that my cat was limping a bit after she fell off our couch the assistant takes my cat out of the carrier proceeds to hold her neck but also push her face down on the table. My cat hissed once and the assistant panicked and let go off my cat. Who then jumped off the counter in fear. The assist grabs my carrier and proceeds to chase my cat around the room with it. I am asking them to let me get her since I am afraid she will hurt herself more since she was already limping. The vet starts shouting to shut the doors bc none of the doors were shut to the appointment rooms. They literally have a room full of large dogs in their waiting room all day and do not close their doors. The assistant traps my cat in the carrier and puts her back on the table and the vet just says “ we are not doing this today” which I felt was such a heartless way to respond to the situation. Then proceeded to tell me I would have to medicate my cat before I bring her in again. That was it. I was in such shock at what just happened to my cat and just wanted to get my cat out of there. So I literally just paid for the medicine and left practically in tears. So please don’t bring your pet here if you are look for compassion in anyway.

Everyone there is super nice.
They have been treating my 15 year old dog for 12 years.
It's a long wait but worth it.

Very rude behavior from the person answering the phone! I called in today (May 23, 2024) looking to make an appointment for the first time here - the first call was answered with the operator picking up the phone and putting it to the side without word, the second call was answered with the operator hanging up, the third call was answered with them putting me on hold for 10 mins then picking it up and in the rudest tone saying "yes, how may I help you". I paused for second because her tone bothered me, then as I spoke she hung up before I finished what I was saying.
What is the purpose of having a service-oriented business if you don't want to service people and their pets who need medical care? Why did you apply for this job if you don't know how to be kind? Fire this person and give the job to someone else who actually has work ethic!!

Awful service from everyone except for the receptionist. Not only do they not know how to HOLD animals they “care for” but the “PROFESSIONALS” were supposed to trust with our fur babies, mishandle and don’t care if they’re hurting them. I went for a vaccine & a check up. All the staff were acting “scared” of my baby. Fine, let me give you the benefit of the doubt. Then this is when the red flags started showing. The assistant started grabbing my cat by her neck very aggressively and started pushing her face into the table to “hold” her. First, you should know older cats don’t Like that & will start to hissing and try to defend themselves. Since my cat was defending herself because this is someone grabbing her aggressively, they bring up the idea to wrap her in a towel. They were struggling to wrap her and instead of asking for help, they’re making it worse by using more force. Once they were done with her shot, they gave her a treat & some spilled on the table. Why did the assistant grab her face and start pushing it closer to MAKE her eat it right there and then. The manager, a Hispanic male, started yelling and making passive aggressive comments. Not only does this make you look bad but what kind of person feels so entitled TO BE AGGRESSIVE TO A VULNERABLE ANIMAL. Then they told us if we’re gonna go in for a VACCINE next time, we should go earlier to give her medicine to be able to “touch” her. No , we’re not going to go back and force my baby asleep for a VACCINE. The doctor, assistant & managers actions were DISGUSTING to witness.
Work ethics & morals aren’t in place. DO BETTER.
If you really care about your fur baby GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

The staff are very nice. When I adopted a cat for the first time, I admired the attitude and attentiveness of the staff. The second time they took my baby to be neutered, their spirit of caring for animals is worth learning from.
