The woman who runs this store is a gem. She thoroughly vets the items before selling them to ensure they're genuine and in great condition, she even knows the history of some items. This is NOT a thrift store. This where you go for long-lasting vintage items. I bought 4 of the most beautiful vintage purses I've ever laid eyes on, I am so happy I live close enough to visit frequently! The items are fairly priced as well, if not under-priced for some.---Another review mentions the woman caring about sizing. This woman cares for her pieces like artifacts and is well versed in the fashion world (including sizings). I can almost guarantee that she meant no offense, she just knew for a fact that the sizing would be incorrect based on her experience. I'm glad she didn't let someone of the incorrect size damage one of those amazing, historical artifacts. She is a valuable resource for fashion, and can make suggestions based on your interests. This is all just from meeting her one time!

Even though I didn't buy anything the staff were all very gracious. The clothing trends towards fitting skinnier and lankier builds with slim and clean styles. Prices are competitive with other labels and more expensive than the outlets, but also seem of higher quality.

The lady who worked here wouldn't let me try on clothes and said I wouldn't fit into the things I wanted to try. It's really none of her business what size I am and if she's running a legitimate business she should let her customers try things on. She is rude and unwelcoming.

Went here with my husband looking for a vintage sun hat and 1940s clothes. I did not leave disappointed. This shop has true vintage from the golden age to maybe the 80s? No reproductions and no “vintage look alikes”, which is its own category and not what I’ve been looking for.The shop carries separates, hats, jewelry, bags and some men’s pieces as well but the majority is women’s wear. The pieces are beautiful and in great shape and are priced very reasonably.I no longer live in Brooklyn, was visiting, which is good because this place is dangerous for my wallet! The owner was helpful and kind.

A Brooklyn staple for quality vintage clothing!A few weeks ago I came in only 30 minutes before the shop was scheduled to close on a rainy day eager to find an outfit for the next night. The shop owner was generous with her time and attention. She helped pull dresses for me to try and was an absolute doll. What a sweetheart.

This is a true vintage store that takes you back in time. The owner knows every piece of clothing in her shop. It’s truly amazing how well made clothes and accessories used to be and how long they can survive in time.

Bought three vintage suits at a very reasonable cost. They all had to be tailored, which cost more than the suits themselves: a testament to the reasonable pricing at this wonderful little shop. After alterations, these are by far my favorite suits. Thank you!
