Alex’s Auto Body Shop has been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had for automotive repair. Seriously, who knew a fender bender could lead to such a heartwarming encounter?
Alex and Lisa are like the dynamic duo of car care! Their customer service is exceptional, and their communication skills are top-notch. They explain every cost and estimate with such clarity, you’ll think you’re back in school—but this time, you actually understand the lesson!
They go above and beyond, helping you out even when they don’t have to because they genuinely care. It's like having a couple of car whisperers on your side.

I’ve only had my leased car for not even 3 months and have had the worst luck. My car was hit twice while parked and of course in nyc no one leaves a note or anything to hold themselves accountable. Long story short the damage was minor (dent on trunk, exhaust pushed in, lower panel broken/cracked, and car structure shifted resulting in the trunk not closing properly). Every single shop I went to stated my entire trunk needed to be replaced due to where the small dent was and that I needed a whole new exhaust or that they could fix the dent and bumper/panel damage but that my car would need to be repainted. All advice given to me from family and the guys from my work garage advised the complete opposite of what the shops were telling me. A lot of shops also told me to go through my insurance to which my family and police officers advised not to due to me being a first car owner. In the officers words they stated “don’t let this be your first accident” it’ll depreciate the value of the car.
After much looking I called Alex’s shop and came in for him to take a look. Luckily I caught him before he was leaving for the day and he took a look at the damage and let me know what his shop could do and at what price. Ultimately Alex’s recommendation best matched up with the advice that my family and the officers gave me and the price was fair. He walked me through both options of going through insurance or not and I felt better knowing his shop was also certified by nissian and so that helped any worries about future penalties when returning the lease. I also brought in quotes from other shops and Alex walked me through why he recommended some of the repairs and avoiding painting all together vs the replacing and painting the other shops were suggesting.
Overall, Alex, Davide, and Lisa are amazing and take the the time to explain and communicate as needed. Even when my car was fixed and then 4 days later bumped into/hit again WHILE PARKED. I called the shop and they were quick to help and really showed that they cared which I appreciated. Nowadays it’s hard to find genuine people and I can truly say here I did not feel taken advantage of at all especially as a woman. Hopefully there are no more accidents or damages in the future but at least I know if needed Alex auto body is reliable and efficient.

I recently had the pleasure of taking my car to Alex’s Auto Body, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Alex took the time to explain the necessary repairs in details.
The quality of their work is outstanding. My car looks and runs like new, and they even finished the job ahead of schedule. I appreciated their attention to detail and the pride they take in their work.
