The manager asked me to leave the store since I had my service dog with me. Tried to explain its a service dog, and he had his service vest on, however she proceeded to tell all the cashiers to "make sure they don't ring me up" because I was in there with my dog. Im sure their staff should be more familiarized with the law as it's illegal to kick someone out with their service dog. Was mind blowing to be honest.

Was ambivalent on whether I should grade it three or four stars. Three and a half would seem accurate but since Yelp for some reason still doesn't have a half rating option I have to go for the one that is the closest to the truth. So three stars it is. Which is an upgrade from my initial visit to this place couple of weeks ago. I wanted to initially give it two stars. The place seemed extremely disorganized and half of the shelves were empty. I figured either the store was new or a hurricane I did not know about hit. Neither one seems to be a factoid. It is neither a per say new store and neither did the hurricane messed things up. On today's (my second) visit things seemed somewhat more organized and there was more selection as well. A quarter of the items seemed to be all types of holiday decorations/festive occasion items. There is also a hefty selection of greeting cards. And considering a card costs only a buck (not sure if all of them do) one can find a pretty decent card that does not look like you got it from a dollar store. Plenty of other fun or not fun items, depending on how you look at it, or what you need or don't need at the moment. Such as mugs, little glass containers of all sorts, picture frames, stickers, plastic containers of various sizes and shapes, as well as colors, paper plates, paper and plastic cups, personal care items, pet food and pet care items, various household cleaning items and tools, such as dishwashing liquids, scrub sponges, etc etc Both times I was here that wasn't many people, so that was pretty . Tonight I was here shortly before closing time and it was nice to know that the store was still open till 9. Not sure if this applies to every day or only weekdays like today. This is pretty neat, considering many or most discount or '99' stores on the area close early/earlier now. Overall, a handy discount shop with convenient location and hours. If only they make this place more organized and presentable and employees with a little more enthusiasm, it could very well be brought up to four stars.

it's a dollar tree store folks and if you expect plenty i suggest you repeat to yourself (100 pennies gets you one item and one item only) i was in bensonhurst on sunday morning and before heading to my local sports bar to watch my rams i made a quick stop to the local dollar tree store and was impressed by the amount of stuff available and place was not that much of a mess . ok i got my liquid soap, brillo pads, paper plates, candles , etc. for 40 bucks not including tax i got 40 pieces of useful goods and if it's not useful that's ok cause it's only a buck a pop. my only minor peeve was that the line was long as only one cashier was open and with social distancing in effect it ain't easy to follow the rules . i am giving 4 stars on my yelp meter.

Staff is extremely rude especially Justin. Not only did he have an attitude while scanning the items, he overcharged my 10 year old daughter and when I asked for the difference back he wouldn't refund her! He even had the nerve to deny it. The supervisor didn't care and barely looked up as I was explaining the issue. Trash store with trashier employees.

The merchandise is not on the shelves items are on uboats in the isles, spillages are not cleaned up.The cashiers have attitudes and like to talk down to the customers and the manager is just a flake and a half. When the cashier is arguing with the customer the manager just tries to get the customer out the door or walks away. And to top it all off the store is dirty floors don't look like they've been swept shelves don't look like they've been dusted and don't even get me started on mopping the floor I don't see that me going back to that store anytime soon

No stars! Horrible location. It's always a mess. Impossible to shop there with a stroller (or without), there are always a ton of boxes everywhere. They haven't had helium for balloons forever. Most of the time only one cashier and lines get pretty long. Today I received the worst customer service, well no customer service, from a cashier wearing a regular sports hoodie, didn't greet didn't say thank you didn't even hand me my receipt, just moved on to the next customer and I had to take my own receipt from the printer.

HOW IN THE WORLD IS ANYONE SUPPOSED TO SHOP HERE??? This is a joke, right? They better pray a fire inspector or someone with a wheelchair never comes in here because they'll be shut down in two seconds. I've never been to a Dollar Tree as messy, disgusting and useless. I wasted my time coming here. I didn't go to my normal one because this was close to the ShopRite I was at. Regret it. Never again.

The 1726 McDonald Avenue, Brooklyn 11230, is a complete mess. I visited this place several times during summer, spring, and my last visit this past Tuesday. It was impossible walking through the aisles due to the fact that every single aisle, LIKE ALWAYS they have tons of cart loaded with boxes, making the shopping impossible. There are lots of meats, dairy and frozen products that stay outside for hours until an employee decided to work and put them in the refrigerator, making this something unacceptable because those products already loose the cooling they need. ALSO AND VERY IMPORTANT: EMERGENCY EXIT WAS BLOCKED AND LOCKED FROM THE OUTSIDE, so if there is a fire, how people can get out??? I am disabled , I have issues walking due to 2 past fractures on both ankles that never fully recovered and I almost felt twice, and If i got injure I will have to sue you, so you have to be careful because many people were having the same issue. Most shelves were empty and employees refuse to provide help, so I am a customer and I have to look through the boxes for the merchandise I need it. The worst part of my experience was the rude, nasty, racist and unprofessional cashier who barely talk to me because she was having a video chat on her cellular phone, she did not have a name tag and refuse to provide me her name, she is tall African American chubby, she also refuse to provide me with a bag and decided to put all of my 15 items all pressure together in 1 bag, who got broken on a side and since she was making fun of me with her friend on the live video chat while she was working. I asked her for a second bag and she refuse, then I asked her to speak with a supervisor and put my items with anger on a bag and I explained that I have to give some items to a family member because I bought some items for a family member that is also disabled and she started screaming, the other cashier instead of trying to fix the situation, she make fun of my accent(I am Spanish and the lady is also Spanish I have blue eyes and light skin and some people does not realize I am Spanish, and called me CABRON, that is a serious curse in Spanish something totally unjustified, so now I have 2 cashiers screaming at me, refusing to help, harassing me and when I asked for the manager the cashier that took care gets a bag that later I found out was broken and from the trash because It had a piece of a banana peel on it and give it to me. I still asked to speak with a manager and she refuse then the other cashier started making fun of me, and my cashier stated that MANAGER DOES NOT HAVE TIME TO SPEAK WITH STUPID PEOPLE, CORPORATE DOES NOT WANTS US TO GIVE 2 BAGS. I used to buy until I move on the DOLLAR TREE STORE located at 590 Hamilton Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11231 and it was a complete and different history, over there employees were polite and helpful, over there I was able to walk freely through the aisles, over there they had the same amount of workers, over there they did have boxes on the aisle but were not blocking the exits. I am outraged and if this does not have a proper solution, I will get the Fire Department and the Department of health to pay you a visit because this store has serious issues. Lastly, you must either retrain or fire those employees, manager was not working the floor, he should have, your store reminds me those places that are closing, those places that do not care, and those places that are selling everything from 75 percent to 90 percent, not a serious store at all.

RATING OF -0 .... OOPS I DID IT AGAIN!... I mistakenly assumed that I can actually shop at this dollar tree. Made an a** out of myself. Once again this location is an utter waste of my time. Ok this is my final will NEVER go back here ever again. Manager actually thought that it was a wise idea to place all his deliveries in the Christmas aisle. And take his seeet as time to unload. This man looks lazy. I counted 4 employees all of which were doing NOTHING!!! He sent one to clean front. That could wait! Another on register very sweet girl and another strolled in. Two employees were putting boxes in a bag. TWO!!!!!!! seriously i dont want to here theyre short on staff. There were plenty of people. None of whicb especially this Manager had any motivation to actually move. This man hasnt a clue on how to manage deliveries and moves like a snail. Grabted they so t have loading docks or storage room however every other dollar I go into moves QUICKLY. They place their boxes in tge appropriate aisles at night or quickly in am and take the day to place on shelves. Now the damn F train isnt running and its a mission to get to West 8th. So f ing PISSED. TRAIN this manager! THIS STORE IS A MESS. WAKE UP HEADQUARTERS

Literally the worst dollar tree anyone can shop in. They ALWAYS have cartload of new products in boxes in every aisle that haven't been put on the shelves. So it's always blocking the aisle. How can anyone shop in these kinds of conditions? Honestly if they are running short on people, HIRE MORE PEOPLE. I came in one day and I overheard one of the employees complaining about how the customers are always leaving things where it doesn't belong.. The whole is a mess everyday so I don't blame the customers for not wanting to play a maze game just to put back an item.

I love this store, I do I go there everyday. But it is just too messy. Not only that after they get a shipment they leave it in the aisle all boxed up. This can prevent you from going into the aisles. It's a good store very affordable prices and quality goods.

Too messy! However, the workers are nice but hey definitely need more workers on the floor or at least as cashiers. You also find the toiletries that you need so it's worth visiting the store. You'll end up wanting to buy something for sure!

This place is an absolute disaster! You can't even get through half the aisles because of so many boxes. The shelves are empty and there's crap all over the floor. I came here once and will never come back to this location again! Sucks!
