The paranoid south Asian clerk overcharged me. Selling me a junk phone cable for 15 dollars. Elsewhere I found the same item for 5 dollars.
Also, employees can't speak proper English and are incredibly rude.

Please avoid visiting this particular 7-Eleven store. On April 10th, the store staff made a reckless decision by locking all customers inside the store, endangering their lives. This occurred when a group of kids attempted theft, the staff chose to prioritize retrieving the stolen item over the safety of customers. This action could have resulted in serious harm if the thieves were armed. It’s unacceptable and unsafe, and I strongly discourage anyone from patronizing this location. Legal action will be pursued to address this irresponsible behavior.

Your regular 7-Eleven. Great for late night snacks, beverages, beer, coffee etc. The staff is fine also.

Now I am a refugee and temporarily homeless. Today I went into this store and asked the girl to heat my container of food in the microwave for 1 minute, which they gave me yesterday in the shelter. This girl said that in order for her to heat my container, I had to buy something for at least $2. I only had 50 cents. Hearing that I didn’t have 2 dollars, she told me to go away. I think she treated me rudely, especially considering my position.

One of the worst 7/11 went to me ever. This is my 2nd time going to this 7/11. The cashier was pleasant though but the store could be cleaner. There were no lids for fountain drinks and there was water steadily dripping from the ice dispenser.

Possibly the worst 7-Eleven in the entirety of New York City. Other than constantly being disheveled with god knows what is on the floor, the clerks are constantly trying to upsell prices unless you explicitly call them out and bring up the label price. They also randomly lock up for hours at a time instead of just closing. No announcement or anything. Just lock the doors and goofing off in there. I'm convinced at this point it's a front for money laundering because they definitely aren't trying to sell merchandise.
