Tried the philly cheesesteak on a hero hoagie, except that it was not the real thing. It tastes okay, but it's more like a mix between a cheesesteak and chopped cheese. So you get steak, your choice of cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, mayo-like dressing (maybe with cream cheese?), but no grilled onions.

Always great! I just moved to the neighborhood, and already I feel welcomed. Awesome! I only wish I could find a corned beef Reuben in this neighborhood. C’est la vie, non?

The owner is this side of being shady. He hears only what he wants to hear. Any mistakes he refuses to accept and make right, costing you money. He is a cheat. He is a chauvinist. Wouldn't trust him as far as I can throw him. Bad character. Totally dishonest.

The sausages and prosciutto are some of my favorites. In 2001/2002 I was deployed to Afghanistan. One of our great friends and platoon leaders Joe Degliuomini was from Brooklyn. His sweet mama would go to the store and buy us a whole prosciutto, hard salami and whole provolone cheese and mail them to us! The guys there sent us T-shirts and swag with every package. We love every minute of it. Knowing how these times are hard on family operators, I was reminded of the kindness of Mrs. Degliuomini, and the owners of Bari Pork Store. Let’s get out and support our small businesses! NSDQ!

The store is horrible. They force you to buy things if your not content with the product. They're products are overpriced compared to other deli stores. Their roll is $6.50 and they're hero sandwiches are $7.50.
