“Every time I go in there they workers are having a party, swinging from the lamps, dancing, blaring the music, drinking cocktails. I think I smell weed sometimes too. I usually hang out for a couple of songs and then leave buzzed, I usually forget to mail my letters LOL. Did anyone ever play that game with with the postage scale they are always playing? SO FUN!”
“Whoever put these pics of a store inside the postoffice (similar to convience store w/soda etc) does NOT belong here. Its a PO only other item to buy are some cards.”

“I always love coming to this post office. Every time I’m there the lady at the front is very nice and humble. I sometimes come with so many packages and she always scans and puts them in the back without any problem. This is probably the best post office I’ve been to living on Long Island. The service is always a 10/10.”
“This is the best post office in my area. Any time I use this post office to send a pkg or letter it gets sent out very quickly and tracks immediately. The people who work there are very polite and helpful. I will not use any other post office for my mail needs.”
“So although I couldn't put my passport in the mail today here is why I gave 5 stars. The phone system said the bellport post office has a walk in from 8 to 9 for passport applications. This is no longer true. However when I spoke to Ana she was so kind and so helpful. She tried to help me anyway she could, gave me all the necessary info and envelope I need to get it done but they were out of money orders so I have to mail from a different post office. Ana's effort, kindness and helpfulness is what earned the 5 stars. I'm still bummed I couldn't complete my task but thanks to Ana I know I can get it done right later today. Grateful for people like Ana! ❤️”

“Usually there is no line in this place unlike other big post offices. Since this is a branch office with only one person working, the work hours are shorter. I decided to leave this review cuz other previous reviews are somewhat too hostile. Thank you for the service!”

“I live on the borderline of Farmingville & Selden and prefer to go to the Selden Post office for shipping. The employees are fast and always very polite and unlike the Farmingville Post office the employees in Selden handle my packages carefully. Whenever I ship thru Farmingville at least 2 out of every 5 arrives damaged.”
“I went in to mail 3 Christmas packages in boxes I had at home. Joann there in Ridge, couldn't have been nicer! She told me why I shouldn't use the boxes I had and gave me others to use. She was very caring, did not rush me through, and made a huge impact on my day. I told everybody I spoke to that day how she made a difference in my day. Obviously the building ownership and management isn't any different than any other post office what made the difference was the person we dealt with. Xavier was the first truly happy and kind post office service worker I've came in contact with. His genuine friendliness made for a great experience.”

“I don’t think it’s fair that no one has ever taken the time to review the counter service at our local Post Office. I am there on a regular basis, as I run on online yarn business. I am always met with polite, professional, service! Even during the stressful holiday period. We live in a time when everyone is quick to complain. I want the Post Master to know that I never see sending my packages as a chore, and that’s because of the staff working there. Kudos??!”
“They helped me even when it was technically closing time. The lady behind the counter was great and quick. I will say they lock the door behind you if it's the actual time they close but as long as you make inside they will help you before they close.”
“This is my favorite post office. The staff at the front desk is always very friendly, efficient and willing to assist. And also their closing hours are a little bit more late than most of the other posts offices, they close at 5:30pm, what makes it more convenient.”

“Really great USPS location that's clean and has wonderful staff. Line usually moves fast and the postal staff are very helpful. Always assist in making sure that the cheapest shipping possible as well. Postal carriers are the best as well, appreciate them!”
