“The gentleman that has been there for years is carrying this post office on his back!! He’s the nicest person I have ever encountered that works at a post office. Usually these people are rude and disgusting for no reason. I forgot his name but he is a light skinned black man. I ship packages at least 10 times a week and I specifically stand and wait for him. He should train these incoming employees so they can see how to treat people. Give him a raise immediately!”

“I love the staff like family and 5 stars aren't enough. I wish people would realize how difficult the year has been for the workers and appreciate their dedication to our community. From October through December they deal with an incredible number of packages. In January they are extremely busy shipping Holiday returns but... in 2020, the pandemic hit and online orders skyrocketed causing them to work at a holiday pace ALL YEAR LONG! Some patrons complain when they show up and the doors are closed but that's only when they are short staffed and the only workers use the time for the lunch break they are entitled to. There's always a sign letting you know what time the doors will open again. If you show up, share a smile and a word of encouragement. They're wonderful people with friendly personalities.”
“I had a nice experience at the main Scarsdale post office today, Monday October 23rd. The kind clerk helped me out in processing an in-person change of address request. The clerks helped me out with a smile and it was a plus that there was no line and ample street parking!”

She is very skilled on taking good pictures and make children to cooperate for pictures. She guided me thru the process, answered questions, and clarified doubts. “Easily the best post office I’ve ever used. They have a parking lot (!!) and I’ve gotten to know both postmasters and most of the clerks over the past decade. The staff is professional and efficient and even though at busy times it backs up easily (credit a lot of privileged suburbanites who use the USPS all of once a year and equally unprepared college kids from the two local schools), I have always trusted this post office and the excellent service and support they’ve long given me and my business.”
“I do not think I've ever encountered a U.S. postal service with 5 stars. I was curious and in the area so visited this location, and was impressed. It's in a cute area, across the street from a cafe. The post office was clean, and not busy whatsoever. Also, the mail clerk who helped me was kind, helpful, and professional. “Thank you to MICHELLE for being informative, calm, professional, and patient. The passport process is not easy to navigate but she handled it gracefully. I came in as a walk in on Saturday (get there EARLY! They only take 5 walk in appointments- first come first serve). I was nervous and thought the wait time would be hours but she was fast and efficient. Super happy it was her that helped with my application.”

“Had the best experience. The staff are friendly and knowledgable. Typically I was going to Dobbs Ferry USPS, but their service is rude and rushed. When I found out about this USPS, I was stoked. Joel was extremely helpful assisting me expedite my passport application. I have even gone at 4:58pm when they close at 5pm and they did not rush me out. They kept a very friendly and supporting environment, which I appreciate. Definitely recommend this location!”

I have often seen them be very polite and helpful to others, especially to people who had language or other difficulties. I cannot understand why anyone would criticize the staff at this Post Office.”
