My 89 year old mother established a trust so her family could take care of her properly and legally as she is quite I'll- Citibank was given all the legal trust docs and POAS had us in to sign in four Occassions- and now wants to know how my mother got her lifelong savings- asking personal questions just to have a checking account she has had for 50 years!!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK SAVE YOURSELF THE GRIEF

Was trying to open an account for my 17 year old daughter, I asked what was required to do this and was told what documents were required, we went back the following day with all the documents I was told was required and was asked to wait outside Mark Shkreli’s office, when the lady asked him could he see us he replied that we would need to wait as other’s were in front off us (nobody was in front of us). Finally when he agreed to see us he was so rude and then told us that we needed more documentation. I left Citi bank and went up to Chase and in 30 minutes I had my daughters account open.I have been a Citi bank customer for over 25 years and have never encountered any negative experiences until I had to deal with Mark Shkrli, we all have bad days but when your dealing with the public you need to leave any negativity at home.

Should you really have to wait 20 minutes in line to make a banking transaction with a teller? This seems to occur with some frequency. Yesterday at 12 pm there was only one teller and a large line of customers, cooling their heels. Has it occurred to the branch manager that customers are going to the bank on their lunch hour and have limited time? Incredibly disrespectful. I expect this kind of abuse at the post office, not at a bank that wants to keep my business.

I always receive courteous and rapid service. No other bank in my experience is as helpful.

Second time at this location.First assisted by Diana Palanza looking to open up a joint savings account. Spent literally 2 hours and 15 minutes just to be told her system was down and couldn’t do anything. Had to repeat the information to her about 3 times because everything just kept “deleting.”Was told by Diana To come back the next day or to try a different location because the information would be “saved” in their system. LIESEverybody else was busy, and couldn’t assist me.The bank was closing by then.I ended up going to a different bank the next day.Everything was done within 20 minutes.Came back to this bank (because of proximity to my home). Came back with the intentions of getting a printed letter stating both names and account number with the balance in the account. The first lady, Josie Caio-, tells me it wouldnt be possible to have both names unless the other person is here. Another lady overhears our conversation and says it would be possible to have both names on the account. I repeat back the information they just gave me to confirm that it IS possible. And was told “yes, we can have both names on the account.”Josie was having problems logging in (seems like it’s a thing in this bank.) she then steps to Justin martin and asks for help.I’m then told i would receive two separate letters with each name on the account.Spent more than 30 minutes waiting for my letter to be told it could not be done.Justin passed it over to a lady named Sheraine and she was of so much help, explaining to me every question i had.

Just save yourself hours and hours of headaches. My debit card never works, it always gets declined. They put blocks on my account for every little thing. When you call the branch it goes to their corporate number in which you will be waiting 1-2 hours to speak to a human. Then they just transfer you around all over the place.

Absolute Discrimination. I walk in the Bronxville Citibank located at 95 Pondfield Rd with my wife needing a simple servicing of adding a beneficiary. Diane told me I could not be seen by her at the moment since she had an appointment at the time (which is understandable). I asked if I could wait, and she said no. I then asked if I could make an appointment for next Saturday, she said they didn't do appointments for Saturdays, only walk-ins (which is weird since it was a Saturday and she didn't see me due to having an appt), If they only take walk-ins, why couldn't I be seen if I was walking in? Nor could I make an appt for next Saturday, so how does one get assistance on Saturday? She then started yelling across the branch for someone name Marc to assist me but Marc was nowhere to be found. While I waited for Marc to appear, I decided to do a withdrawal of $175 but did not have my debit (because I do not use debit, this is not our primary banking, just a savings alternative). I presented my NYS DL but the teller did not recognize it since NY recently changed the look of the ID. This withdrawal took 30 mins since it appeared she was filling a suspicious activity report. During my wait at the teller line, Marc appears when Diane yelled for him that she needed an override. By the time we were done, no one knew how to find Marc again for MY needs as if we did not just see him come out and give an override and walk back into a back room. (But they sure knew how to find him for that override, right Diane??) They then had to close and couldn't service me at all. Everyone around me was getting serviced meanwhile I wasn't even told how I can get help at the moment or in the future. I felt extremely discriminated against, especially after I told Diane I wanted information about Citi Priority Banking, and then she suddenly became interested in being helpful, and oh look, NOW she CAN make me an appt for next Saturday. "The day they don't take appts". It is a huge a disservice and injustice to feel this way. I myself work in the financial industry, and it's never okay. This entire financial center as a whole, was not helpful or welcoming. They clearly do not hold their client relationships in high regard. Or maybe the do, selectively.

Closing all my Citibank credit cards and accounts, since they require vaccines for employees. Im not really desiring to take advice on how to manage my health from a bank. And I realized its probably better to do business with smaller banks and credit unions.

Trouble bank. No one acknowledges you and after waiting 25min they don’t have a rep that can help to open an account. I’ll take my money else where.

I love the staff at this Branch. I 've been with them for 2 years and they have welcomed me, and they are always enthusiastic, and treat me like family. All the Ladies at the counter are amazing. Sorry some of you had a bad experience.

Unfortunately, these negative reviews of the branch manager, Theresa, are true and justified. This bank cannot be recommended.

Large Citibank branch. Have plenty of support staff for mortgages, credit cards and personal wealth. Replacing ATM's with next generation ones. Has 4 ATM's.
