Damn shame Black ppl follow you around the store. Walked in & walked right out. I’m from this hood— no one shops here. It’s ALWAYS empty. So for me a Black person to give you the time of day & you racially profile me as soon as I step inside, it’s comical. Then the old Jamaican man playing cop, wants to beg me to stay in the store once I decide to leave. Why? This Black owned business can’t be bothered to greet its Black customers but can stare them down & when I decide to take my money elsewhere, you wanna coerce me into buying something? Shameful lol yall need us. But I don’t need yall.

Great selection I guess. I don't know much about hair but took my daughter to purchase some colorful hair, and the experience was great. The staff was welcoming and helpful.

The Black Young guy with fade and afro with black security shirt is VERY rude. I mean so nasty.... I try to support black businesses but this one I just can't support anymore. One customer also pulled me to the side and said she hates coming because of him. She stated that he is very rude and speaks to you in a very condescending manner. He needs to be trained on customer service and people skills. If he keeps it up that will be his life long job smh. Im not from the area and I come to shop when I'm in the area and I'm gonna support the other races because they are honestly more polite with better customer service. This young mad needs help who ever the owner is needs to watch him because he is bad for business.

I tried this shop bc I was seeking a Black owned business. The store is clean and quiet and the young man that was working was helpful. I was disappointed that they don't carry the As I Am Jamaican Black Castor Oil collection I was looking for but over this store seems to have some everything you'd want for natural hair, perms and those who like to add hair to their own or just give your hair a break. Its funny because I don't do braids often but that homered selection they carry has me tempted

I recently visited the beauty supply. The worker took the time to assist me and even though they did not have what I needed, I was pleased with their customer service. The store is small so their selection isn't as wide as other beauty supply stores.

Black Owned beauty supply store. They do not have everything (which is probably the result of being iced out by non-Black distributors), but the store is clean, organized, moderately priced, and has just what you need. I am making it my business to only do my hair shopping at this location.

Black owned beauty supply store in the Bronx. Very large space but they need more merch. Not like most beauty supply stores that are over stocked. But will be back to support a black owned business!
