Equipment is very old, paint is peeling off the weights Air conditioning doesn't cool off the place during the summer They try to keep the locker room clean, but it is too humid and musty Staff is actually nice, for the most part, but the sign in process every time gets old

ahh the whitehall club. from the outside it may seem like a place of luxury and class don't be deceived, it is everything but. if it's not for the cockroaches, it's the rats, if that's not enough maybe the toxic black mold that coats the locker rooms. that stuff will kill you. moving on, let's say you work 5 days a week and you want to go to the pool Friday after work. yeah, no. there closed Fridays for "cleaning". there is no heat in the pool area so prepare to freeze. be prepared to be yelled at by the nasty old lady's to move out of your lane because they always use that lane and they like it. oh yes, the gym. the filthy machines covered in sweat, and the scattered equipment all over the place, and the old men grunting and moaning lifting their weights. to conclude, let's discuss management. now that is just a sorry lost cause. stubborn, depressed people who hate their lives and job! i hope this review gives you enough insight into the hell hole called the whitehall. ps if you think you may drown don't do it between 5-6 pm because the person watching the pool is a porter. that is not a Lifeguard or certified in any way. they're just giving the lifeguard a break.

The best place to exercise, ever! The staff is what makes it world class by setting a stress free and welcoming atmosphere. The facilities are very clean and the natural light at the pool is rejuvenating. I have belonged to Asphalt Green UES (2004-20018) and Chelsea Piers in Chelsea, and this place tales the cake.

I only go there for the pool so cannot comment on anything besides for that. The pool is great and I enjoy the nice staff!

I've enjoyed my Whitehall Club membership for about 9 years and I was thrilled to be able to return this month, now that the COVID restrictions have been lifted. I continue my twice weekly workouts--always with a mask-- with my trainer there, where the gym is pristine and each machine is sanitized by a staff member who stands by to clean, moments after you're finished. Ventilation is good. The pool sign-up system also works well. The staff is efficient and friendly. The exercise classes have always been excellent-- and will resume in due time. Overall, this is a fine, low-key gym with proper equipment-- and it's never too crowded.

Beautiful building and grounds. Despite location on the Henry Hudson parkway this is certainly a quiet, secure, and amenity-filled building with Olympic sized pool, full gym, dry cleaner, and large open terrace for hosting private events. Very impressive building which stands out among the best in riverdale/spuyten duyvil

The pool is very clean and large ( semi Olympic pool), with 8 lanes. The staff is friendly and the whole venue is welcoming.
