This place is the worse. The delivery guy put my bar stools on backwards the took my money before I got the furniture and messed up my account. They are not suppose to take money until merchandise was delivered. which was two week they refuse to fix the situation or pick up furniture.

Stay away from this company they took over two months to deliver my furniture, they had promised me to deliver in two weeks. They hired extremely dangerous people to due their deliveries, they weren't capable of assemble the furniture right so they said that it was defected. Once I told them to please leave my house one the man left and the other one was trying to force me to sign for delivery, I refused to sign because I wasn't happy with the delivery so he tried to push my hand so I would sign . Things got pretty ugly then we started to wrestle inside of my house and he hit me with a drill on my head. I had to call the Elmsford police to take care of the situation. SAVE YOUR MONEY.... DON'T BUY ANYTHING! I came in to purchase a trundle bed and wardrobe closet in November (Black Friday). The bed was in stock but the wardrobe wasn't. So within two weeks the bed was delivered. Despite issues with the delivery, the bed arrived safe and was assembled in good condition. I didn't get the mattresses from them (THANK GOD). The bed is still viable except for the knobs, which can be replaced. Now the wardrobe closet...within a month of purchase, the closet was delivered. It arrived with ALOT of scratches and blotches. When I refused to sign their white sheet. It was suggested to use a sharpie marker to color in the scratches... really! So of course I refused the order and they took the unit back. I offered the company a chance to credit some money back (100) in exchange for the unit. They offered me $30 bucks. I refused and now had to wait for the new unit. Another month later, I was told that my 'new' unit was received. They take it off the truck and there were still some scratches and blotches (like as much as the last one). Except when the closet was assembled, the inside still had the made scratch as last time. So they didn't send anything back. They just fixed some of the scratches on the outside and thought I would be stupid enough not to see this. Since I am getting them fully reimbursed, I will accept the unit and not call my attorney. The only reason we went with VG was because they had the bed at $100 less than the competitor. But for all the drama and unprofessionalism and faulty equipment. I should have paid the extra money. Remember you get what you pay for. Please use Ashley Furniture or Bob's for quality and professionalism.

We ordered furniture on August 10th - delivery was set for August 25th - August 25th came and my husband called up to find out about what time delivery would be arriving since it was moving day for us! We were told during that phone call at around 12pm that our furniture was not in and would not be delivered! we never received a call regarding this and had my husband not called, we would have been waiting all night for a delivery that was not arriving!!!! fast forward almost 2 weeks later and our furniture is still not in!!!!! we are also being told that nothing will be refunded and they will not even cover the delivery fee for us even though THEY messed up!!!! This place is ridiculous!!!!!

Horrible Experience. I purchased an Ashley Mattress, Model M69631. The sales man John totally misrepresented this price of the product stating it's usually sold in Macy's for $1,200. I decided to go online and noticed the bed prices ranged from $ 198 to $ 235. I paid $ 577.02 for the bed, box spring, and delivery (Delivery is 59.99).The bed by itself cost 393.25 which is a 200% profit. PLEASE LISTEN TO ME AND BUY YOUR BED ON AMAZON!!!!!!!!! THE PRICE IS WAY CHEAPER WITH FREE SHIPPING. The box even comes with wheels. The bed inflates as soon as you open it and cut the surrounding plastic. The manager who said his name was Joe didn't have any consideration at all when I told him my concern about the overpricing. I called to confirm the delivery time and I never could receive a definitive answer. They just say 10am to 4pm and call back tomorrow. I had to call twice. Total lack of consideration. PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE AND DO YOUR COMPARISONS! BUY YOUR BED ONLINE! I'm not the one to usually write reviews but I want to help another person so that they don't get ripped off. I hope this helps someone!

When first getting to the place they do seem very nice and the furniture is a great price. I would love to say everything went smooth when going there we found a mattress and couch we want. The sales associate said we can have it by they earliest connivence we just have to pick the date. It sounded wonderful. We put money down to lock everything in and told them we will come back to put the rest as soon as we get the keys to our new place. When we got our keys we came back to pay the rest of the remaining balance. After we paid they told us the mattress we wanted was unavailable and if we were to cancel the order we will have to pay half of the original order so we had to settle with another mattress. We then agreed to a date until the week of the actual delivery date they told us that the mattress will not be there until the following week and with all the frustration I ask they do something for the delay they gave us an area rug for the inconvenience. When the day came to deliver our furniture they stated that they couldn't deliver that day we will have to wait one more week we absolutely couldn't do that again told them they will have to figure something out. They called there manager (are so they said) that they will deliver the mattress I asked not the sofa they said the sofa was never on the truck and for them to deliver it we will have to pay an extra 50 dollars. We did not agree to that and it wasn't anywhere on the contract. But they did deliver the mattress on that day but not until nearly 9pm at night. I end up not doing the delivery for the sofa getting a truck and bring it myself. This place is great for the prices but terrible delivery service they look like they are trying to milk you for business and they truly will give you the run around keep in mind I couldn't sleep in my apartment for about two weeks because of having no furniture I really advice people not to go to this place better off at Bob's less headache and not charging you extra fees

THE ABSOLUTE FREAKIN' WORST.....EVER!!!!...I BOUGHT A BEDROOM SET & IT WAS DELIVERED ON NOVEMBER 11th 2017...4 DRAWERS WHERE DAMAGED...I IMMEDIATELY TOOK PICTURES & FOLLOWED PROTOCOL & EMAILED THEM TO CUSTOMER SERVICE....46 DAYS LATER, THAT'S RIGHT, 46 DAYS LATER!!!!....DECEMBER 27th AND I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY DRAWERS...THIS PLACE IS 1000% HORRIBLE...DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS RINKY DINK OPERATION....IT IS HORRIBLY, HORRIBLY RUN....NO ONE KNOWS WHAT TO DO & IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET AN ANSWER...MY SALESMAN "CUBA" PROMISED TO CALL ME BACK A FEW TIMES & NEVER DID...YOU HAVE GOT TO BE A MORON TO EVEN CONSIDER THIS PLACE...THIS IS THE WORST BUSINESS I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED...DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE....................................AN UPDATE........ IT IS NOW JANUARY 22nd AND I FINALLY RECEIVED THE 4 REPLACEMENT DRAWERS 72 DAYS AFTER FILING THE REPORT THE DAY AFTER THE SALE WAS MADE...I GOT THE RUN AROUND LIKE YOU CANNOT BELIEVE....I WAS TOLD THEY ARE BEING MADE OVER IN CHINA & IT WOULD TAKE WEEKS...I FILED WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU & ALSO CONTACTED WNBC "BETTER GET BAQUERO" AND THEY GOT INVOLVED AND AGREED THIS WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE....I WENT TO THE STORE APPROXIMATELY 2 1/2 WEEKS AGO TO PICK UP 1 DRAWER & THE MANAGER "JOE" WAS VERY APOLOGETIC & SAID HE WOULD MAKE GOOD ON ALL OF THIS WHEN IT WAS SAID & DONE.....THEY TOLD WNBC THAT IT WOULD BE ATLEAT 3 MORE WEEKS BEFORE I GET IT...WHEN "BETTER GET BAQUERO" CALLED THE DISTRIBUTOR, MAGICALLY THE DRAWERS APPEARED & VG NICOLS CALLED & SAID THEY WERE IN & THAT I COULD COME PICK THEM UP WHEN I WANTED. I REQUESTED TO HAVE THEM DELIVERED TO ME AND MINE YPOU THE STORE IS ABOUT 4 MILES FROM MY HOUESE & THE MANAGER JOE SAID I WOUILD HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER 5 DAYS...RIDICULOUS...SO I DECIDED TOP GO THERE & PICK THEN UP & WHEN I DID, THE MANAGER "JOE" WAS SO RUDE & DISMISSIVE TO ME LIKE HE WANTED NO PART OF ME...WHEN I ASKED HIM HOW HE WAS GOING TO MAKE GOOD ON MAKING ME WAIT 72 DAYS HE RESPONDED & I QUOPTE "WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO, WE FULLFILLED OUR COMMITEMNT PLUS YOU FILED WITH THE BBB & WNBC & NOW MY BOSS IS ON MY BACK" HE OFFERED ME A DISCOUNT ON A FUTE ORDER...LIKE I WOULD EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS OUTRAGEOUSLY UNPROFESSIONAL CIRCUS OF A BUSINESS...THE MANAGER JOE HAS NO PEOPLE SKILLS WHAT SO EVER & I KNOW HE WILL GET TO READ THIS & BE UPSET....BUT THESE ARE THE FACTS & WNBC & THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU BOTH AGREE WITH ME...SO AGAIN PEOPLE DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT BUY A THING FROM THIS PLACE....READ ALL THE REVIEWS & IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTION I WOULD LOVE YOUR FEEDBACK...GOD BLESS YOU & GOOD LUCK

Don't go to VG Nicols! Here or in Pelham Manor. It took 3 weeks to receive a simple breakfast bar. Delivery charge is over the top. Shop online, Wayfair, Amazon, anything but this place. Most offer free shipping/delivery, which it's simply good business.

I purchased a sofa from them on November 14th. (Paid in full) The couch was to be delivered by the 26th or 27th , i have them until Tuesday because of the holiday. Nothing, they never attempted to call about the delay or anything. I was expecting guest and removed my old furniture so I had nothing in the room. The manager was rude and dismissive and told me the couch would come for an additional 2 weeks. I was very upset and felt they could care less. I like the product but the customer service is awful.
