“UPDATE as of 1/24: I'm lowering my rating as recently, this clinic's staff has dropped the ball & ive been coming here for around 4 yrs. I tried calling my vet to get advice on my dogs back legs after he was just seen by the vet. I called left msg, got a call back from a tech asking me to call doc back tomorrow, I did, left another msg. Then everytime I call or write after that, 1 tech tells me to call back, another tells me a doc tried to call & heard no response, but they didn't leave a voicemail?? I only have a cell phone, so the fact that my voicemail apparently never came up for them makes me think they called the wrong number. This back & forth went on for 1 month until finally another person told me the vet wanted me to do a recheck on my dog & that this was explained to me. I only receive INE call from them & even when I went in person, twice, to pick up written prescriptions, no one told me the vet suggested that.2nd issue, I bought a bottle metacam & recently started giving my dog his dose, there was an issue with the top of the bottle, it was defective, so I wanted to see if I could exchange it. Then I noticed the medication is expired and was expired when they sold it to me. Again, I think the vets are great, but every time I've talked to their recent front desk staff, there's been issues and miscommunication on more issues than what I just posted.3rd issue I don't like discussing my pets or business in front of other people & their waiting room is so small, everyone can hear. They have exams room but stopped using them during the pandemic & I'm not sure why they don't anymore.Initial reviewGreat experience so far, just switched to them from bronx veterinary clinic located on webster ave. Riverdale had friendlier vets with a lot of knowledge, i love they even do exotics, which is rare. I'm happy to change to this vet! We now see Dr. Emmerich, who's awesome, friendly, and very knowledgeable!”
