Customer service at your 10471 location has gone from excellent (from years ago) to awful (recent months). It's not exactly the competence issue but the attitude issue. I used to enjoy coming to this location but now I dread it.

I went at a time when it was not busy and they would not weigh my envelopes to tell me how many stamps to put on. Poor customer service.

Terrible customer service someone who may or may not be a supervisor Janice bell was extremely rude very dismissive had an attitude and was no help .. should be fired!!

Not helpful at all! They can't print a label for you if you purchased a label online. So i ended up canceling my online label and getting one from the branch. Then they didn't even have a pen for me to fill up a form! And bring your own tape. Otherwise, you'd be spending another 4 bucks.

Wish I can give this 0 stars. The lady in glasses is so passive aggressive and kept mentioning “English” and how she doesn’t speak Spanish . Also had to redo my application because they don’t accept blue ink even though the website said in black ink. Now I’m being sent home to get the rest of the documents they need which was never mentioned I needed in the website. The old guy there who does the passport application also spoke in such a low sluggish voice and when I would reply he would be so confused and say “what” as if I’m the one he can’t understand when he himself can’t even speak clear and properly. Also an old lady there jumped when all I did was walk pass her. Full of racist lazy unhelpful people who act like they’re better than anyone when they’re not.

This is where I applied for my kids’ US passports. The man that handles passport services is very efficient… very good at his job. Excellent passport services. I highly recommend this post office if you want to apply for US passports. Prompt service….Kudos!I am talking about the Post Office at 5951 Riverdale avenue in the Bronx.

Don’t go here for a passport. At 1:50 for our 1:30 appointment we were told there was still someone in front of us and the passport person had to go on a lunch break. We had to leave empty handed (or wait until 3-4) after missing several hours of work for nothing. Don’t make appointments if they can’t be honored. The passport fellow was also freaking out and talking to himself about making mistakes. I’m not sure I would have trusted him to process correctly anyway. Just awful.
