Extremely slow and hot, the line always curls around the office, they have six windows but never have more than 2 cashiers. Which is very unfair for the elderly who can’t be standing for long periods of time!

This post office will never deliver any packages to your apartment door that can't fits in your mailbox,the carrier will lie and say he try to deliver but he was unable to access the building ,I live few steps from this post office but still I have a lot of issues with this post office delivery my package.

They are uneducated, unprofessional, rude, and don't want to help, UNITED STATES OR WHITE HOUSE NEEDS to investigate this location, since alot of customers, and people complaining about this location, I mean misplacing certified mails, and packages, don't deliver on time, whose is the responsible for their behavior

Jennifer Jaume - Supv is the best postal service worker! My pkgs were being sent back to FL bec I had put the wrong apt #. She went far & beyond to track my 4 pkgs & luckily located them in Manhattan. I received them 4 days later ??...she literally saved me a lot of headaches & money. Thanks Jen

PARKCHESTER post office is definitely the worst I’ve ever experienced. Always a long line, employees don’t care how many people are on line they move at turtle speed. Mail carrier hardly ever delivers parcels you always got to pickup at post office. I opened a P.O. Box to keep track of my delivers and 3 of my packages were sliced open with a box cutter. I complained to the station manager, who try to convince me that was done during processing the mail at another facility. 3 packages? Obviously not sir. He took my name and number and said he will investigate, of course he never called me. I close my P.O. Box after only having it for 1 month. Avoid this post office unless you got time to waste

Very unprofessional location. Lack of employees. Always a long line. They're always misplacing people's certified mail. They can never find your packages the majority of the time. They take long to look for certified mail / letters and packages. They make it seem like it's your fault, which is not the case. It's not the customer's fault that this location is so unorganized. Put together a more constructive, strategic system so the staff can be all on the same page working accordingly.

They never have enough clerks at the windows! There’s ALWAYS only one window open with a long line! The post office just keeps getting worse and worse.

I came in today to get my son a passport the post office and passport line were empty. They still did not help me today because I did not have an appoiment even though there was nobody there.

I came to get a passport today at this location. There was nobody in the post office and because i didn’t make an appointment they didn’t want to help me. Mind you there was nobody in the passport line. The man saw me waiting and than came out saying I needed an appointment.

I was honestly nervous to go. Post offices and DMVs always give off this stoic and stressful aura for no real reason.
The line is long and your wait time will be around 30-45 minutes. I went after work, so around 5:30-45ish and the line was long. I believe when I got there 2 windows were available and then at some point one more opened up.
The other customers were tired of the line but were very community-oriented and they just wanted to help time pass by making funny remarks.
I was greeted by this very calm and courteous young tall man in line 6 and he was so patient with me and quick. He made sure he looked through to find my package and found it. I was way too excited about it because I was relieved because it was my birthday package.
