I feel in love with the entire building my child has been attending for 2 years and even until this day I have a hard time taking her home because she doesn't want to leave. the love and affection that she receives from her previous teachers until now with her current teacher it's just amazing, I love how Ms Natalie it's so caring and lovely with all the kids and you can see it when your kids don't want to leave the classroom that all they are receiving is genuine love and affection.

I am a current parent in TLE riverdale I am so happy how the teachers are with my daughter. My daughter has been attending TLE since she was 1 and a half, and now she’s graduating from Pre-k. I am sad to say that my daughter will miss her friends and her teachers. I am currently looking for a school for the following school year, I just hope that my daughter would get the same love in her new school year. Thank you very much on how your staff is so caring and affectionate with my daughter. Thank you to the admin team for checking upon my daughter when she was home sick. I would definitely recommend this school to others.

Please do something about the traffic in front at drop-off and pick-up. There are so many parents who just double-park and expect us to cross across the double line into oncoming traffic which is racing downhill on a curve. It is crazy every morning and afternoon when we are trying to get kids to school too.

I am a new mom and was very nervous about sending my 12 week old to daycare at the time. The wonderful teachers at TLE Riverdale have taken such great care of my baby since day 1. She is now almost a year old and has learned so much from being in daycare. I would have loved to keep her at TLE Riverdale until preschool but we moved from the neighborhood and the commute became too far. We felt so comfortable having our baby there we continued for 8 months even after we moved. We are pretty sad about leaving and we know her next daycare has some big shoes to fill. My baby will miss everyone at TLE Riverdale. Thanks to everyone for being the best first day care experience for our family.

One of the reasons why I sent my infant son here is because the staff is warm and loving. I found TLE to be accommodating with my son's changing needs. My son also really responded positively to the staff. One of the reasons we left was because we wanted a daycare within walking distance from our home, and the new daycare has a very strict COVID protocol. However, I will say the new daycare also lacks some of the warmth of TLE.

Had to reduce the stars from 5 to 2. From 2015 to the Pandemic this place was great but since 2021 the original owner/director left. Now every other month there are new teachers or new center directors! My son who is there now seems to be doing WAY LESS than my daughter did in 2018 when she was in the same 3K program. For every single picture of him doing constructive art, play or writing on the TLE Parent App we get a dozen pictures of him eating, snacking or napping!!!! Pick up and drop off alone seems hectic and too crowded. Since the pandemic and the advent of FREE 3K in NYC half the Bronx is now pushing their toddlers into the doors here which I don't mind but there is no organization that I can see beyond the tiny lobby area packed to the ceiling with kids from tiny infants to huge 5 year old Pre-K kids. A handful of the teachers (Raquel, Kionna, Yakosta)are long term employees here and are above and beyond really great and is the main reason my son is still there but the new teacher turn over rate is insane and some days I have no clue who is with my son until the end of the day. Honestly TLE Riverdale used to be a gem of a place but they are going thru many inherent and (to be fair to them) post-pandemic issues that need to be worked out before I would recommend them again! For reference when my daughter left TLE she took a couple of ABLE and cognitive/aptitude tests to get into Kindergarten Programs at various exclusive private (Riverdale Country Day being one) and catholic schools and she passed ALL of them on account of her great pre-pandemic education at TLE Riverdale! Sadly for my son I doubt this will happen if we keep him there!ORIGINAL 2018 Review - Great place. We have had our baby girl there since she was 6 months and watch her transition over the last year to from the infant room to the the toddler class. She is now 17 months and I'm amazed how much she has learned and developed from being in such a diverse and educational-driven setting. We choose TLE over the cheaper in-home daycare services where your baby are pretty much sitting the whole day in someone's apartment watching TV with other kids that may live there. At TLE our daughter has developed strong social skills and she interacts well with other kids and adults in public. TLE rooms are very clean and well lit and the staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. I love the transition process where as your baby grows they move on to higher functioning rooms in a timely manner that isn't rushed or delayed. I highly recommend TLE Riverdale.

As a service provider I was very happy this year to be supporting a child at TLE. The administration was responsive to schedule requirements of providers in their space. The classroom team worked closely to make any necessary changes and truly believe that relationships do drive learning, I saw incredible team work and planning with Ms. Kionna and Ms. Ashlee, amazing early childhood educators.

After researching several Pre-K programs for my daughter, we selected The Learning Experience - Riverdale, and were constantly reminded that we had made the right decision. The management, staff, and teachers uniformly impressed us with their professionalism and responsiveness, along with the love and care they showed toward our daughter. I recommend the Learning Experience - Riverdale without reservation.

Our daughter has been at The Learning Experience - Riverdale since February, starting when she was 18 months and we could not be happier. The teachers are so thoughtful and kind. I am a teacher myself and have been so impressed by the curriculum and how developmentally appropriate it is - our daughter comes home having learned new things every day and we can tell that her artwork is clearly child created. The school has a great app that they use to communicate with you throughout the day, sending lots of pictures and updates. Surbhi, Theresa, and Raquel in the office are amazing communicators and caregivers as well. Our daughter also has an allergy and they have been so careful about supporting her needs. We have two older children and have had experience with daycare, nannies, and preschool programs and this experience has been our best so far. She is so happy and well cared for and we are so appreciative.

My son has been at this facility for three years. I have nothing but extremely positive comments regarding the facility, administrators, and the teachers. We feel that TLE has created a community of parents,The "TLE family," and an environment of care and learning that has been exemplary for my son. He is almost reading as he leaves pre-K and has been well prepared for kindergarten. We made lifelong friends during our time here and always felt partnership with the teachers and administration whenever something came up. Covid was a very difficult time, but we got through it and TLE did an amazing job at keeping the children safe, communicating with the parents, and creating an environment of learning even during a pandemic. I highly recommend this daycare and school. They are amazing and we miss them already!

Our son recently attended daycare at TLE Riverdale for a few months (ages 4-7 months). We only left because we moved out of state and we were very sad to leave (our son included.) We are first time parents and we were nervous about sending our infant to daycare, but it turned out amazing. Because of covid, there were only a couple other babies in the classroom and he got a lot of hands on care. All of the staff were so caring and full of love for our son and all the children there. You can tell for many of the staff it's not just a job and want to get to know the families personally- they were friendly and always ready to talk, whether chit chatting or responding to our questions. The administrative staff, Surbhi, Raquel and Theresa, treated him like a family member- with love, respect and attention. Even one day he spat up on Theresa's hair and we felt so bad, but she didn't complain once and genuinely seemed to be understanding about it. His teacher Davasia was also very intuitive. Almost every day our son was beaming with a smile when we dropped him off and he saw all the teachers' familiar faces. The facilities are bright and clean and they go outside every day in the playground out back. We also felt relatively safe sending him there during Covid as they emphasized mask wearing and screenings. The other families we knew there also were taking it seriously which was comforting. Also there's an app they would update frequently during the day with information about feedings/naps/diaper changes and photos so we could see how our son was doing. On Mother's Day they even had him make a card for me with his feet prints which was unexpected and so sweet. I would really recommend TLE!

When we moved to Riverdale in 2019, we started our daughter with an in home educator who we all got really close with. Shortly after, this person had to leave and we were in need of daycare that would offer care and education for our daughter (who was 2 at the time) that kept up the momentum for how much and quickly our daughter was learning.We eventually came to find TLE in Riverdale, and were so pleased with the initial impression. Through time, our daughter demonstrated continuous learning (started in daycare knowing numbers, letters, shapes, and colors, and now expanded number counting to 30, is able to list colors in Spanish, and always catches her mother and myself by surprise when she demonstrates her growing knowledge).Also, the way that this facility has managed safety and care during the heaviest parts of the COVID pandemic solidified to our family that we had chosen well. Since both her mother and I are considered essential workers, the fact that the daycare has remained open for a huge portion of this time (rarely did they close, but always had safety measures in place) made for a really supportive service. We loved that they also had requirements for the children to wear masks as well as the staff.Overall, there isn't anything negative I can say about this particular daycare. We moved away and had to select a new daycare, but I cannot emphasize enough how positive our experience has been with this facility. We will miss Surbhi, Teresa and all the lovely staff at this location dearly.

My wife and I are very grateful with the warm reception and excellent care our daughter received from TLE. I knew we found the right place for our daughter when my wife stopped worrying about her and believe me she likes to worry about everything! We are glad to recommend TLE for their excellent care and accommodating staff.

TLE - Riverdale is hands down the best daycare and Pre-K in NYC. I decided to enroll my son here a little over two years ago and it has been the best experience and investment in my son’s progress and education.As a working parent, I rest assured that he is loved and nurtured the moment I drop him off. They hire the absolute best and most amazing teachers at all levels, provide great food for the children and have an incredible curriculum. The administration is flexible, attentive and dependable. The facility is vibrant, safe and stimulating for the children.Thanks to their curriculum and their teachers, my son has been reading and writing since he was 3 years old. He’s going to Kindergarten this year knowing how to write sentences and reading at a First Grade level. What I also love is the feeling of camaraderie they promote in the classrooms. The children all know each other and bond through kindness and empathy that is encouraged throughout the day.Thank you for everything TLE - Riverdale Family! I am forever in debt for all you have contributed to my family. My greatest sorrow will be not having you guys when my son enters Kindergarten!
