Well organized. Went for the futura 2000 “breaking out” exhibit. A really well curated show. Wasn’t too hard to get there. Just wished they didn’t run out of gallery pamphlets by the time I got there.

It seems like this museum is going through some renovations as there's only one room available with exhibits. The art was fine, but it's hard to spend more than half an hour here.
When I turned around to go home, the Yankees game just ended and the subway became crowded.

Free entry
Quiet
Small but nice
Next to bus stops and subway stops - a great place to kill some time while waiting for your transit
Though, visiting Bronx felt sketchy in some neighborhoods

Small free museum, front desk staff is friendly. I only got to enjoy a tiny portion of the museum - so I cannot speak too much on the actual exhibits. The security guard made my experience very very uncomfortable as he was extremely rude, disrespectful and abrasive towards me for absolutely no reason at all. This was such a disappointing experience due to their security staff.

Located in the Bronx, the Bronx Museum of the Arts is a cultural institution offering a wide variety of contemporary and 20th-century art exhibitions.
The permanent collection features over 800 works, including paintings, sculptures, photographs, and works on paper. The museum also hosts temporary exhibitions from artists around the world.
The museum building itself is a work of art, designed by the architecture firm Arquitectonica. Its glass and steel facade reflects sunlight, creating a truly striking effect.
Inside, the exhibition space is spacious and bright, with high ceilings and white walls. The artworks are neatly arranged and well-lit, allowing for optimal appreciation.
The museum also offers a range of educational programs for adults and children, including guided tours, workshops, and lectures.
There is also a museum shop where visitors can purchase souvenirs, books, and artworks.
The Bronx Museum of the Arts is an ideal place for those who love contemporary art and want to discover new artists and expressive forms.
It is a museum suitable for all ages, providing an interesting and stimulating experience.

What's the point of being free? It's dangerous in Harlem, so travelers can't go there.
