Pretty awful store. Poorly run, poorly staffed, terrible attitudes, non-existent inventory tracking, so basically just like every petco in NYC but slightly worse.**** Update**** Still a horrible store. Today i wasted my time at Upper West Side Petco & W 237 st Petco and as usual there is no one in the aquatic department to sell a fish or a plant. I give up. Permanently.

They don’t always have the biggest variety when it comes to dog food but they have the one I purchase and it’s close so it’s convenient .

Poor Customer Service..
On 6/11/24 I called in regards to purchasing a Guinea pig for my daughters birthday, the gentlemen who answered the phone said we don’t have any here check the store in Yonkers.I asked can you tell me how much they cost or do you have access to tell me ,He said I’m not Yonkers & hung up the phone on me SMDH..

Recently my dog went to go get a cut for the first time.She was there for 3-4 hrs because of the amount of dogs that were waiting aswell.The cut wasn’t bad but it wasn’t the best but once she came home she hasn’t been the same she no longer wants to go and walk outside or go to the park which is quite worrying.There are multiple reviews like this and Petco continues to say they will fix it but they need to fix everything, why allow so many dogs when we have scheduled appointments.

One of the workers named Hakeem was so knowledgeable about betta fish over the phone. Hakeem was very pleasant, friendly and had patience, no matter how many questions I asked him. I love this store.
