This is the best salon ever! Mary and Sheeba are wonderful, they go above and beyond and truly care for all their customers. They do an amazing job with washes, blow drys, cuts, and color transformations, both with dark to light and with light to dark. New Image is a comfortable environment that feels like family. I recommend them 10/10!

I was seen right away and my hair dresser understood exactly what I was asking for without me having to explain too much. She did a great job cutting my hair, I love the way it came out! I had a wash, cut, and style and was in and out in less than an hour. They also offered me coffee, tea, and snacks which was nice. The salon is clean as well and they are reasonably priced. I will definitely be going back.

This salon is so amazing! They really care about your hair. I went in today and went from really dark hair to really light blonde that I wanted. They made it happen and I’m so happy as this is exactly what I had in mind! Thanks so much this to salon. The people who works here are so kind and very accommodating. Highly 100% recommend. You’ll be satisfied trust me.

If you don’t have straight hair this salon is not for you, they really don’t know how to manage curly hair at all. They did not use any heat protectant or cream before blow drying and did an ok job cutting my ends but I wouldn’t go back here.Services: Haircut

Parking in the area is horrible but that's not the salon's problem lol. Very friendly staff, first salon I have walked into and went right into the chair (with appointment). In & Out in no time and always satisfied with their service.

Shqipe always does an amazing job coloring my hair blonde. Her and Mary are extremely welcoming and friendly. The salon always has a lovely atmosphere. Everyone’s always chatting to each other. New Image Salon is a find. A small, pristine place, no loud music or complicated routines, just talented and skilled "hair wizards." Mary has convinced me, this determined and stubborn woman from the 60s, to give some style to my look. More recently, when the grays began to create a cloud of frizzy ends, she convinced me to color it. She found my perfect color and the softness and manageability was a revelation! What I thought would be an ordeal is always so quick and easy. New Image pricing is very fair and far more reasonable than most salons I've tried.

I got may hair cut by Mary when I was 7-8 months pregnant. Not only did she do a wonderful job cutting my hair, but she was also kind and accommodating. Its rare to find someone who is so good at what they do and I will be going back again soon.

Fantastic haircut! Mary is extremely talented and did an amazing job with my hair. She's a real professional, but also just a nice person. She also follows all COVID-19 protocols to keep her customers safe. I will be going back to see her again for sure!

I have been coming to Mary for years! She is the absolute best! I do not trust anyone else with my color. So much so that I continue to make the trip to teven after moving to Long Island. She is the BEST for color cut and she's great with my kids too. Do not look any further for the best Hair Stylist in New York!
