I use to take the china town bus to come to this salon years ago. They blasted Enrique Inglgasias in concert but they did an excellent job.

This salon was recommended to me by a friend. I had a wash, Roller Set & Style, Moisture Mask and Blunt Cut with Gloria. Gloria is a great stylist. She is truly a kind person who knows and loves what she does. I have natural hair, yet Gloria took real good care of my hair. During my time at the salon, I could tell all the stylists knew what they were doing because all of their client’s hair looked amazing when they were done.
I highly recommend this salon. I’ll definitely be back.

What can I say ….OMFG!!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY HAIR ???? I have 4c hair and was recommended by my Bonus mom to use her hairstylist Zoila! She was so gentle after expressing I had been so nervous about ppl touching my hair in the passed . She took her time and was so sweet! You just got a new Client !

I had to say a prayer for this one .. I gave this Salon a one star. The person that answered the business phone had assured me that my daughters reach the salon after I gave her their description. She then proceeded to Say that it would cost $70 for their hair because their hair was curly , I said ok they have enough. Strike 1 NO skills with curly hair!!!! Strike 2.. The older woman who works there blew out their hair after washing it ( she said their hair is too curly and they can’t get rollers). She flat ironed their hair after blowing it out. Strike 3 told my daughter that the wash , Blow and flat iron is $70.. She told my daughter for both of them it’s $140. I never heard of this B.S. They have shoulder length hair .. She even wanted to cut one of my daughters end , I told her sister not at all cause I’m not present…Very disappointed they did not even get a proper wash n set SHAME ON YOU, Unacceptable… Show me where in your price list say that to wash and dry someone hair is separate prices???…;when you wash someone hair you are expected to dry it right ??? We went back n forth on the phone, I respectfully told her in my upset voice the price the receptionist gave me was different… I had given my daughter $100. I told the hairstylist I’m not given her $40 more dollars because I was told it would be $70 for a wash n set with flat iron.. I kindly went over there to give her the $40 . I truly feel like I been OVERCHARGED by A Hairstylist … For Future reference to anyone Do not send your Kids 14 and under to a hair Salon they will Rob them… I can’t Trust the neighborhood salon to be honest .. Smh BEWARE!!!!!! I don’t want NO APOLOGY.. Ask JESuS Christ for forgiveness,In the community doing this non sense..Service: Shampoo & conditioning

I believe the hair stylist put relaxer or texturized in my hair product. My hair has a chemical smell after a wash and blow. Two weeks after and my hair does not have its natural curls. For natural girlies don’t do it. I asked the Hispanic woman before sitting and she said she doesn’t natural hair . Allegedly

I only went one time here, i brought my teenage daughter and everything came out wonderful. I was excited to take my 5 year old daughter here but when I called to make an appointment a woman told me " If she is a child who cries they will not take her".I thought this was the most ridiculous thing a salon has ever told me and very unprofessional. My daughter has curly, thick and long hair so combing her hair can be painful to her if the right products aren't being used. Any body would tear if they are in pain but as a professional i would think having patience is required to do your job on a daily basis. In conclusion this salon is great for teenagers and adults but not for children.Services: Hairstyling

Liz Branch & Beauty is a very clean & orderly establishment. I love that I could book via website without having to call and that their treatments and hair procedures have descriptions so I know exactly what I’m getting before booking.Originally, I was looking to get a trim and a wash but wasn’t completely sure what I needed, so I booked a first time service with Gloria to find out. Gloria arrived on time for our appointment and greeted me right away which is a huge + for me. She went through my hair goals and provided recommendations/advice so I definitely felt listened to during our appointment. It’s also very easy to feel comfortable talking with Gloria!As for the salon, it’s very clean. I arrived in the morning so there weren’t that many people inside. I saw many hair stations being cleaned and the floor being swept so I could tell that cleanliness was important to them. There’s a front desk for an easy check-in and complimentary magazines and telenovelas playing on the tv for you to enjoy/watch.I’m so glad I was able to find a salon in the bronx with a great stylist to help with my natural hair care, I will be booking again.Services: Hairstyling
