Went into this place for a little bit today to see what the fuss was about. It sure is a deli owned by balkan dudes. May or may not have been profiled, but I went out of the store before things started to escalate, if you know what I mean. quite the experience if I do say so myself...

Small shops like this are often the heart of a community, which in this case in Belmont, is rich with Albanian immigrants looking to forge their own identity in a neighborhood long known for its Italian heritage. You won't find much more than the essentials in this small space, but sometimes that's all you need. They offer more than just food, with a number of items from or inspired by their European homeland.
