Some of the prices are great depending on the sales you catch. I've gotten expensive ice cream brands for low prices or even on a buy one get one free type of special, just to give an example. The workers are great and are very friendly. They are always willing to help and very polite. This is a great place to do your shopping at. The store is very clean and items are well placed and easy to find.

Not too many foods you won't find! Prices are competitive with most supermarkets. Friendly environment, clean and professionally staffed.

I had brought cheese string at this super market Food Universe the sign said 2.99 and when I went to the register to pay for it, they was charging me 8 bucks for a pack of cheese string ,every time they have sells and when you go to the register is something else, they said oh that's not on sell .and that's all the time. and I'm not the only customer complaints about what's going on in this supper Market .this supper Market sucks .

The aisles are small, but they are kept well stocked with items and the store is very clean. The employees are very nice and helpful, it was a very good experience going into Food Universe to shop..

B E W A R E !!DO NOT CONSUME MEATS FROM HEREThis supermarkets meat section needs to be fined by the health department! They wipe the dates off the EXPIRED PERDUE meat packs which come pre printed and slap on their own labels.

On Sunday the 17th I purchased milk from this supermarket. Yesterday the 22nd in the morning I opened the milk, put in my cereal, had two spoons then had an upset stomach. I looked on the milk expiration and it was expired from the 9th. Yes I realize I didn’t look at the exp date when I purchased it because of course I’m not expecting to buy spoiled milk so I threw the receipt away. I went back to the store and showed them the charge on my online banking for the milk with the date of purchase that also shows it’s that supermarket it was purchased, and the very rude and disrespectful manager told me I will not be refunded for purchasing exp milk without receipt even tho I still provided proof of purchase with my bank account. I’m not going to go back to the store while 8 months pregnant to lie about a purchase. They will hear from me again!Milk purchased July 17th but was already expired on July 9th

Trash they selling out dated meat . Told manger she said it's ok . Place under construction selling items with dirt and dust from them ripping the floor up wouldn't recommend anybody ever buy anything here if you love yourself . They really should not be open but in hood so anything goes. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!! I really give them 0

It's ok they are renovating in there so in there is a little mess and dusty but I go there like wen I run out of stuff at home or if I specifically need something there

Hate to compare grocery stores but this and western beef a few steps ( streets) away are much better than the ones closer to me. IMO at least. This store also very helpful in my free money collection days.. Made a bit of pocket change in a matter of 30 mins

Used to go there almost everytime I had to go shopping but I noticed the people there are actually disrespectful just trying to get you out. Got the sandwich guy asking for tips mean while he’s getting everything you asking for wrong doesn’t know English, which is fine but I mean don’t ask me where’s my tip money when you’re getting my order wrong. I know the neighborhood is not a good area but the businesses don’t have to be that way either.
