I bought a hamster today he is the sweetest thing ever but one thing is i feel bad for those fishes there was many dead fishes floating at the top and the place smelt somewhat dirty because of all the animals but what i will say is there is a friendly cat! but they need to stop putting hamsters together because they can fight. they didn’t really have much for the hamsters but overall my experience was ok and my hamster keeps itching a lot and changed the bedding a lot

Semi small aisles. Enough to walk and turn through but only the width of one person. They sold birds, snakes and rodents and had 2 puppies that looked like doberman/pinscher types at the register.They actually have single species tanks here. As in no species are mixed, bettas are by themselves as well. The fish conditioner products and food are behind the register.The guy is very helpful. I saw him mentoring a man and his young son on a 20 gallon tank.Overall it's not a bad setup.3/16/2024Bettas are in tiny unfiltered cups with no lids, kittens being sold 3 in a cage. Unsightly.

Bought a leash here and a vest for the leash, was told I could return it, next day there was different worker and they told me I couldn’t return the vest so that’s that. But the leash was at the least durable so it was worth it

This pet store has been here for a very long time.. the fish available are great in size and the prices are comparable to the big chain pet store cept your getting a much larger fish for the price.. as for all the other pet needs again the prices are comparable to the big chain store however if you're from the Bronx you know that going to the pet store on treamont ave is a lot easier than traveling to Broadway or past Gunhill in order to visit the bigger chain store who only offer very small fish ?
