The two tax preparers Francis and Marjorie were personable and answered all my questions when I needed them answered. They helped me understand specifically how I was owed refunds and broke things down a little better about deductions, tax refunds and answered the questions I had. They did not rush me to get through my taxes. One thing I really like (at least that I saw at the H&R Block in Parkchester near the 6 train line) is that you can see/preview the information the tax preparer is putting in so any errors or other issues that need to be corrected can be corrected before any mistakes go through to the IRS. I really am glad H&R Block had the sense to provide the preview option in tax preparation for its clients.

Terrible customer service. Tried to ask a few questions since it’s my first time using them and the lady kept repeating I been here 30 yrs I been an instructor it’s your responsibility to have these things in order.Simply asking a question about what u do and don’t do compares to other tax professionals who cover certain areas doesn’t warrant u to get rude and upset and as soon as I said I’m not here to argue she hung up on me. If 30yrs of services has u working in that manor H&R doesn’t deserve business.

The person who prepares our taxes is very thorough. She very patient and professional~she gives us time to complete forms even when the computer is slow, she never rushes us. Also is very easy to talk to. We feel very comfortable with her.
