Writing as a parent/tuition-payer. COSTS & TUITION: Bait and switch: son admitted with 50% academic scholarship; as inflation drove up over all tuition, scholarship stayed flat. So my out -ot-pocket increased at twice the rate of inflation. And the billing office shafts me with outrageous room charges (like $250 for not putting a bunkbed back together from habing made it two single beds, and then charging a could hundred in late charges on top of that fine. CAREER: basically there is no worthwhile counseling system that helps the kids plan for what's next. Fine if you know what you want, not fine that no one tells you that to get into a certain professional or grad school from Fordham you need this major and these grades, based upon the experiences of recent grads. ACADEMICS: I had thought the notion that contemporary universities disallowed contentious idea was absurd. WOW, was I wrong. So basically as a student you'd better keep your thoughts to yourself unless they are lock step with the latest transectional ideology. If you do not then your peers abuse you in quasi-public forums, and you let your professors down. What a tremendous waste.

not worth the money whatsoever. This school is a shady business. The food is not palatable. The professors are simply not intelligent. The deans are condescending and arrogant. You get no chance to get into any classes and they just say "welp, try again next semester" as if it's not an extra 40k. No science department competencies to speak of. Every prof is adjunct. I'm not sure what redeeming qualities there are.

A beautiful, serene campus, with beauty and architectural style in a park-like setting, situated in the middle of the Bronx!! I haven’t attended classes here, but it’s reputation precedes itself!Division 1 NCAA sports and a gorgeous stadium!The Gabelli business school seemed to be very well equipped with Bloomberg terminals and a seemingly state of the art facility! Overall my impression of the school was very impressive.

The bookstore was full of apparel and all sorts of hats. It was clean and the staff were helpful.
