Misleading Information and Poor Experience at Fordham Toyota
I recently had a disappointing experience at Fordham Toyota. I contacted them to confirm the availability of a vehicle and was assured that it was available. I specifically asked if the car came with power seats and keyless entry, and they confirmed that it did. After multiple confirmations that everything was as discussed, I was told that I could only get a discount if I came to the dealership.
However, when I arrived, I found that there was no keyless entry or power seats as promised. The sales advisor and manager both assured me they would offer the sticker price, and I was even given a trade-in offer for my used car. After spending an hour at the dealership, I was told that I would need to pay an additional $3,000 for a new RAV4, despite all previous discussions.
It became clear that the dealership was using misleading information to get customers to visit the dealership, only to change the terms once they arrive. This is a frustrating and unprofessional tactic.
I dealt with several employees during my visit: Salesperson Sergio Tena, Manager Rosario (or Rosie), and another employee named Anson Castillo. Unfortunately, it seems that the staff lacks proper knowledge and is only interested in getting customers into the dealership under false pretenses.
I walked out in frustration and will be contacting Toyota to report this experience. I advise others to be cautious when dealing with this dealership.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Jenny C. found us the Corolla Hybrid we were looking for while all the other dealerships said it would take weeks. Costco's discount brought the price down to the best deal around, and Emanuel V. was incredibly helpful and patient during our test drive and closing.
