Turkeys were given out to the seniors right next door. I am a senior, and i am also a customer. I carry the turkey, ask them to cut it for me, and they refuse. I had a turkey before, and the previous management cut it for me. THIS MANAGERMENT NOW IS NO GOOD. They do not care about the customer. They do not even want the cashiers to speak with the customers. Overall, that is BAD customer service. Another thing, they will have a sale price on an item when you get to the cashier it is a different price, or it is not the right item. Bad customer service.

Their prices are eh! Some of the workers are nice and helpful and do their best to accommodate, however I'd check their stuff for freshness at times for I have had my fare share of not too good experiences. But overall love them

11/22/2023I went to Food universe in bronx and with my wheel bag? I had other things in the and purchased some food it wasn't after 9pm and the mangr there wanted to pack my bag? I told her no then she had the Nerve to check my bag like I stole stole something I told her there's no need to check the bag? Then out of no where the Male manager comes to check the the entire bag and told he's got to make sure? Those SOB's donts speak proper English and nor do some of the cashiiers either. They no business checking any bags at all! I shop there regularly and spent a lot of money there. That sore in Section 5 in the north east bronx is the WORST!!!I would not recommend this to anyone. The upper management needs quality workers who can relate to the community because theres a Language barrier which they clearly do not care. I'm totally Disgusted to shop over to that supermarket.

There fruits and veggies as a lot to be desired. The person in charge of that section doesn’t care if the product is fresh . If the product is not good he still puts it on the shelf like cucumber peppers tomatoes etc etc etc. Either teach him or get rid of him Or get rid of the people who are delivering nasty products do your store.

I have never met any Manager as rude and unprofessional as the one in this store. Customer service, if not excellent customer service is what any customer would expect not just from any associate in the store but especially from the Manager. He needs to take a course in customer service and change his ways

I usually come here for one or two things. They usually make good sandwiches, went in today for one. Terrible. New girl doesn't listen to your order correctly (gotta be her airpods).. prices for certain things are fair and for others is just straight up outrageous. If you're trying to fill the fridge this place is not it. Walk to the nearby stop and shop. Used to have good ppl working here, they're not here for a reason. Someone on another review said they've been declining every year customer service wise and it is true. Only nice ppl are the girls working the register, they are courteous and patient.

Half of the food on the shelves is expired. It's too stressful to have to keep checking expiration dates. Their deli is the worst. They have one girl working the deli counter and she ignores you. She had a big order of sandwiches. I was the only person waiting for her. She just ignored me with no explanation. No communication with the customers. I just got potatoes salad and it was spoiled the same day. The produce and meats are a gamble. I've gave them multiple chances but enough is enough. I'm only going there if I need cat food or maybe a case of water. It's a shame because the cashiers are all very nice. I hate ever giving bad reviews but it's time after too many bad experiences.

The selection of items here is great, but the lines can be long. It can take a very long time to checkout.

Very expensive compared to other supermarkets....I only go for emergency things, such a bread and milk when I run out.
