I have used Flatrate to move three times and the most recent move from FL to TX has been horrible. They lost some valuable items and refuse to provide me with information regarding where my items are. They aren’t answering my emails nor are they returning my phone calls. I’m beyond disappointed they won’t take accountability for losing valuable items during a basic move. Where are my items and how did they just disappear from the warehouse for pickup!? The fact they blatantly aren’t calling me back or communicating with me is wild! I’m simply asking where are my things and if you can’t account for them, replace them at full cost. Fear flatrate, why are you dodging the questions instead of doing what is right!? Where are my missing items!?

This company completed our military move from NY to TX. My stuff was packed poorly—we had a different moving company the day prior who was great but told us flat rate would be packing the rest and moving it. I am giving 2 stars because the driver who arrived in Texas was super nice & personable and one of the crew members in NY were also very nice. They sent a team of 6 to my NY home and somehow stuff was still packed poorly. My top load boxes were ALL smashed, my kitchen table was broken, my dryer legs are all broken off, my beds are all missing hardware and the guy said, “oh it is just for a kid so it will hold him.” I tipped them, fed them, gave them drinks and still our items were handled poorly. Would never recommend this company again. Very disappointed.

The plan is very detailed. The movers were polite. They worked very quickly and respectful of my property. The price reasonable.

Very professional. Full service, including tear down of furniture and setup. Also very quick, 3 hours to move out a 2 bedroom apartment, 2 bath and backyard. 2.5 hours to move in to a 2 bed, 2 bath, backyard duplex!

I used FlatRate moving for a cross-country move (NY to CA). They arrived on time and were efficient at loading/unloading. I didn't have any issues. I felt the price was reasonable for the job they did. I will use them in the future and recommend to others.

Great team helped us move from the city. If having the team pack up for you the day before just make it clear to them what you want to keep unpacked until moving day and if you want to move boxes to the truck or not - we weren’t prepared for reserving the elevator for two days.
