I’ve been a customer of Fine Fair for a while, but my recent visits have left me extremely disappointed. The store’s cleanliness has deteriorated significantly, with aisles often cluttered and shelves poorly stocked. On multiple occasions, I found expired products still on the shelves, which is completely unacceptable for a grocery store.
The customer service is also lacking—staff members are either hard to find or not helpful when you do get their attention. To make matters worse, the checkout lines are consistently long, and the self-checkout machines are often malfunctioning.
I expect much better from a supermarket, especially when there are so many other options available. Fine Fair really needs to step up its game in both product quality and customer service.

FIRST OFF, DONT BELIEVE THESE RESPONSES FROM THE OWNER! MANAGEMENT BARELY SPEAKS ENGLISH?! Now on to the UPDATE...I came here a few days ago and if it's not one thing here, it's another. I went to buy some romaine lettuce. I guess theyre were going bad so they decided to peel off the bad leafs and sell the rest. Problem is the rest was less than half. I couldn't believe what they were selling for $1.99. I asked the produce guy were they serious? He looked then laughed, I laughed too because this was crazy. We're dealing with inflation and the business is robbing shoppers as well. After I passed the veggies I went on to the meat. In the mood for steak, I had to pass on that as well. It looks like they're using that meat glue we hear about. Not only did the steaks look glued, read the labels placed on them. They claim bacteria may come from poor handling on the customer's part, but based on the quality, it looks as if they're mishandling the product. I suggest trying the supermarket on Allerton Ave directly under the train or the supermarket under the pelham pkway station on the 2 line, next to the fruit market. This place isn't it, pay a little more for quality.

This supermarket is very Racism. Find another one to go to. I went here the lady lied to me about the baby formula. They don’t accept digital coupons. Management will not assist with giving formula early. Even though cashier only gives the amount they want to give. My baby ran out of formula because these people plus all the other fine fairs open at 7 am. This one is so busy they should open at 7am same time if not earlier.

I know it's allergy season, and you've got gloves on, but please be mindful handling groceries.
Please have tissues, hand sanitizer and fresh gloves nearby.
Thanks.

As a wheelchair user and a person of color I usually need help going to the supermarket, this store isn’t accessible by any means, the ramp in the entrance is cracked and could lead to someone falling. The actual problem was when I went inside, I have a bag on my wheelchair that I use to put items in due to my lack of mobility with a cart. When I payed I was stopped and accused of stealing then was held at the front door with a rude manager. She was small, Hispanic and very loud plus she didn’t believe me when I said I hadn’t stolen. (They have no proof I did) I would give this place zero stars because of the horrible manager and lack of accessibility they have. WOULDN’T RECOMMEND.

I attempted to return an item that I thought wasn’t accurate because of the price tag listed on the shelf. I asked to return the item and the manager had to return the money because of the cash register restrictions. When she came she looked inside the bottle, smelling it and when I asked why she made the excuse that she wanted to make sure I wasn’t trying to steal. She began to yell and I felt embarrassed and told her to hurry and be quieter because people’s attention was focused on us. This isn’t the first time the manager has done unprovoked and unprofessional behavior, a few months beforehand she told an employee to inspect my kid’s bag because she was “stealing” and when they found nothing they didn’t say a good reason why at all. Instead the employee said the manager asked to search my kid’s bag, without proof or consent. Horrible behavior and unprofessional conduct by the manager Elisa.

Good supermarket with a huge variety and products are always on sale. The only problem is that the meat does no last long. cook it and used it with in two days after buying or it will spoil quickly.

Experienced racism while shopping here. An apology from the cashier the bagger and from the manager there that day doesn't fix anything. Your employee that checks bags accused me a person who shops in that store every day if not every other day of not paying for my groceries and asked me to see my receipt after I just came from the cashier coming back to put my groceries in my shopping cart. That person should have apologized to fix the situation but it never came. Whether he was a new employee or not that's not an excuse to assume that's how you push customers away and lose business. I don't even feel comfortable to check my cart or bags by your front door. I spend too much in this store to be disrespected.
