The CVS at 565 West 235th was a pleasant shopping experience, merchandise was displayed fully stock on the shelves. The CVS staff was very helpful, however I noticed no security team was present which is very essential at CVS locations

This pharmacy is a disgrace to our community,it doesn't even deserve a one star review unfortunately 0 was not an option. The staff is unprofessional and treats clients terrible. This store should be closed down. Don't waste your time and money there.

This is the worst pharmacy in New York. The workers are rude and unprofessional. The workers do not know customer service. Every time that I am there, they are in an argument with somebody. They yell at people trying to get their medications. They force patients to reveal their full bithdays in front to other people. The people that work there behave as if they would rather be somewhere else. The entire place smells like urine mixed, mold with aged cheese. Do not bother trying to get your medications here. They rarely have the medications ready and rarely offer to resolve insurance issues. For your peace of mind, escape this unprofessional and smelly place and go to the walgreens down the street. CVS should close down this branch.This CVS causes the exacebation of any medical issues.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHARMACY!
The pharmacy at this location is completely useless, STAY AWAY. My prescription renewed on March 26, and after 9 days of "delayed", I called them today and got the excuse that their supplier isn't delivering it.
This follows from the pharmacy lying to me on March 21, 2024 about having to contact the insurance company to get my wife's post-surgical oxy prescription filled. The insurer told us this was a lie, and called cvs directly, at which point cvs admitted to the insurer that they did not have the oxy in stock.
These are not isolated incidents.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHARMACY!

What’s the point in advertising that the store opens at 7am when nobody shows up to open the store until well after 7:30am.

Decent CVS, but the tall, heavy lady at the pharmacy is rude to customers. Also, this location rarely opens on time at 7:00. Whoever opens this store obviously doesn't care about opening on time.

Horrible experience. Seeming lies even. Clerk screaming at me and abruptly hanging up. Nasty altercation. I gave her instructions I was given on transferring prescriptions which she took exception to at every turn. I gave same instructions to her supervisor who said she would follow up. Why couldn’t the clerk do this ? Horrible.

Worst CVS don’t come here for your medication! I was told by another cvs location since my prescription was soldout to call this pharmacy to see if they have my medication available. I called and was told they have it in stock and will be ready in an hour ! And hour passes I arrive at cvs and was told my medication is not ready to give them15 minutes! I waited the 15 minutes and was told wait 10 more minutes since it is being processed. When I go a third time I amTold the medication is out of stock!!! Why tell me on the phone it’s on stock to come pick up in an hour and why make meWait 25 more minutes in the store when you guys don’t even have the medicine on stock! Worst customer service I’ve ever seen!

The pharmacy staff do not check voicemails on a regular basis. Every prescription called in, they never find.and they say it was not called in. We then contact the doctor and we confirm it was called and magically they find it. Waiting time is not good but the worse is how rude the staff from the pharmacy is. We have spoken to the pharmacist before but still unchangedWill change location
