I went and I learned how to swim,there's a big and small pool, small pool is 1 ft for smaller kids and the big one goes from 3 ft to higher. I recommend, however it's quite pricey. if you can pay for it you have no problem. When I'm in the Bronx I don't feel very safe since there's a lot of sketchy people but here there's no sketchy people and you would need an ID and passport and more so it would be safe to make sure you can be allowed here. I would recommend definitely.

I enjoy going there every day to be with my peers. Exercise, have conversations plan fun things to do outside of the Y. Make good friends.

The only thing im going to say is about the pool their pool rules is sometimes ridiculous what I find in that pool rule is that you cannot dive In The Water that's less than 9 ft yes I understand it's supposed to be 9 ft however I find 8 ft to be deep enough to dive in and I'm always getting called by lifeguard stating that you cannot dive and there's no diving and honestly I can care less I've been diving there so many times and I'll find nothing wrong with it it's like they're being too over strictly with the rules and overly safe I don't care about other rules that I'm seeing I'm not worrying about it it doesn't concern me but what concerns me and bothers me is the diving I've been diving so many times I've been swimming or been in the swim team for 3 years

This is my first time reviewing a location.The reception lady ‘Laverne’ was extremely rude and disrespectful with rolling her eyes when you have questions and would respond with an attitude.She even judged my sister and rolled her eyes when she asked for her id!As I sat waiting to enter she was being rude to other people as well and is extremely slow at her job.My friend who goes there regularly stated to me that she’s is alway like that,the pool experience was eh,the lifeguards wouldn’t stop blowing their whistles and yelling at the slightest thing.It would’ve been a better experience if the receptionist “Laverne” would have never been there and better customer service because they forget that the CUSTOMERS are the ones paying their salaries.
