Filed my taxes online like last year, been waiting to receive my return. Been over a month, call and they tell me that I had to go in to sign documents and my taxes haven’t been filed but they charged me. I asked if anyone was ever going to call me and and they response I was given was “eventually.” Completely unprofessional and I will not be filing my taxes here again.

I had my 2019 taxes prepared on May 7, 2021. A week later, I had my 2020 taxes prepared. Very expensive. A month later, I had still not received my 2019 refund that was supposed to be mailed as a paper check. June 21, I go back to check on my my refund status for 2019. The clerk had a very nasty attitude (most of the staff have attitudes) and said I should call the IRS. I called the IRS on June 27. It turns out that whoever prepared my taxes did not include my apartment number and didn't even bother to ask me for it. Now, the IRS has to put a trace on my check and I have to wait an additional 6 weeks for my refund. As of yet, I have not received my 2021 refund either. Not only will I not use their very unprofessional services again, but if anyone asks, I'll tell them to stay the hell away from Burns Rodriguez and associates!!!

I never ever write about anyone, but this is my first time. Burns and Rodriguez taxes in Bronx NY, don't anyone go there. They're so unprofessional and they suck at there job. I Totally understand it's tax season and everyone's busy but if you have no idea what you're doing and you giving bad advice you need to start a new career. The advice they gave me I lost money and I will be losing money and they did not do anything about caring it was their error and they basically said good luck. The unprofessionalism in that office including one of the owners Richard Rodriguez is unbelievable you make a mistake you stand by it. I do not recommend this place for no one.
