It was fun and the zoo was massive! We arrived at 2pm and the zoo closed at 5:30pm. Most of the indoor close at 5pm. It’s a great place for family especially with little kid. We have the membership and to enter the zoo was smooth and easy. Most of the indoor space needs to park the stroller in a designated area, but most of the time, there’s a staff to look over the area, however, it’s suggested to take your value belonging with you. We went to the bird house(not sure the right name) but it’s an indoor space where you can feed the birds and the ticket is 5$ for adult and 3$ for members. It was fun and highly recommended. The bug carousel was fun too and my toddler loves it and would wanna leave. It’s free and might take sometime to wait on the line, we weee lucky that there was not much people waited when we went. The parking lot has a lot of spaces and they charge $22 for parking, we purchased the parking when doing our membership so it was free for us. There’s three parking lot A-C, it’s suggested to park at A where you can easily enter the primary area in the zoo. There’s shuttle train in the zoo that can take you to different zone without having too much walking, and food & drink are not allow. Need to finish them before on board. It’s important because there’s a cafe next to the station and a lot of people bought ice cream and was told to finish their food before on board. We didn’t get a chance to explore the entire zoo but at least 60% of it and will return soon since our baby loves it very much! Had a great time here!

Impressive! Despite being a popular destination, it wasn't too crowded, allowing for a relaxed and immersive experience with the animals. The animals were incredibly visible, making each exhibit a delight to explore. The spacious layout of the zoo allowed for plenty of room to wander and appreciate the beauty of the surroundings. The cleanliness of the facilities was top-notch, adding to the overall enjoyment of the day. Overall, the Bronx Zoo offers a great experience if you're looking to be immersed by nature and wildlife. If you're a student, be sure to have your student ID and driver's license for a hefty discount.

Please close your elephant exhibit and send Happy and Patty to a reputable sanctuary! #FreeHappy #10WorstZoos Elephants are social creatures and y’all are depriving these sentient beings of that.

Haven't been here since I was in high school! They definately upgraded the whole park and the habitats it's very beautiful . We went on a Tuesday with school in session it was the best experience I've had at the zoo in a long time . It was very empty and we didn't even see the whole thing but we were there all day . I was impressed , food is a lil pricey but they have healthy options and the park is just really well done . We loved it and ended up getting the membership. Parked in parking lot c and it dropped us very close to the zoo center with the rhino and komodo dragon inside .

It’s totally worth it to get the family pass that I go visit almost every 2 weeks if the weather allows. It’s a very nice walk there and each time I go, I get total different experience. There are so many animals to look at and there are also lots of plants to see as well. The zoo is so big that it needs to take a few trips in order to see every exhibitions. Also there are lots of fun activities for the kids to do as well!

Would love to see breastfeeding areas more throughout the park, the staff is friendly there are eating and seating options all throughout the park and lots of stuff to do. Our favorite part was the tree climb, it’s up high so not for those scared of heights. Nonetheless expect to be here a few hours and wear comfy shoes, disinfecting wipes, bring snacks and water. Or a bottle there are filling options near the restrooms

Admission fees are high among New York zoos. Parking is also $20. So, when I went to the Central Park Zoo, I bought a season ticket for $75, but both Queens and Central Park were just under $10. Even if you go through everything, you won't get your money back. The Bronx is also worth going to three times. If you buy a season ticket, you will receive a T-shirt.

Only giving one star because I have to give one to leave a review. We spent $200 on a regular week day with good weather (sunny, no rain) to see literally no animals at any of the exhibits. The only thing we saw were birds and snakes. When we asked about where the animals were (as it was such nice weather) the employee said plainly that no animals would be out today. We traveled for hours and spent a lot of money to have an eerie, empty experience. It almost seemed intentional… I have been to many zoos and my experience here was the worst by far. Don’t waste your money!!

Family for life. They definitely need money ? they are broke and need investors asap. You know, they had to close down Zip line zip line and all the sky fun smh I ? ? ? need your help. Give your employees a raise and lower your prices. god doesn't know money ? at all. That's man's sin. The animals are depressed. Some need more space. Some need a food change. The Western burger must get
