The veterinary team at both locations provided nothing but the best care to my Sugar. From her regular visit to her getting spayed the staff members all showed so much compassion and professionalism. I recommend Bronx Veterinary Center to anyone who's looking for a knowledgeable team that cares.

I really love the facility and everyone who works there. I also understand that the staff is not responsible for the pricing. Unfortunately, I had to move over to another veterinary office due to the fact that they’re now overcharging for loads of things that they never used to do before, which is very unfortunate because this was my holy Grail place. I feel for many who may agree with me that they felt secure for caring for their pet because they knew that they Had access to an affordable & loving place . Again they’re very welcoming, but be prepared to spend !

The people here are very nice however they charge an insane amount and don't deliver on results. I took my dog there because they accept walk-ins and she was very sick. They gave her a lot of tests and the result was nearly 2,000 dollars spent for tests and medication and no diagnosis for my dog. They gave her antibiotics which helped her for awhile but she quickly became sick again. I scheduled her for her regular vet and they found 2 tumors and charged me 2,600 for the removal of her tumors, a spay, and all the test results and medication. I have nothing against the people who work there who seem like they genuinely care about the animals, but I cannot in good faith recommend their services with the price and results delivered. Especially because it delayed treatment for my dog that she needed.

Absolutely terrible. Took my 7 week old puppy - they stated his fecal exam came back negative. WRONG! He passed an adult roundworm 3 nights later. Went in for his first puppy visit and vaccines. Doc stated that it’s best for us to come back at 8 weeks for his vaccines. Got charged for a wellness check and fecal exam, he said to book just vaccines for his next appt. Totally fine. I call back the following week and they tell me I have to pay again for another wellness check, fecal exams and vaccines. Apparently they don’t do vaccine only appts! Absolutely not.
Terrible - also don’t rely on a callback. They’ll tell you they’ll give you a callback and don’t.

Money mill. This place blows. Wait times are excessive even when you are there on time for your visit. Get ready to leave your wallet and cc there. Blood work alone costs an astronomical $300. The staff there is inexperienced and non-technical of their own profession. Did not like anyone's bedside manner or their handling of any of my pets. Impersonal and nonchalant. All about the $ here nothing to do with the pets. Will not be visiting this office again.

Not sure how this place has a 4.3 star rate !
Horrible horrible horrible vet ! I took my 4 month old puppy there to get checked out due to diarrhea and vomiting.
Spent $4,000 in 1 day ! Everything kept coming back negative but they still continued to re do the same exact exam . He stood for 2 nights for "iv fluids , antibiotics " . Which I know for sure wasn't given to him . He went weighting 6 pounds to come out and weights 2 pounds !!! How is that possible in 2 days he lost 4 pounds , plus if given iv fluids for two whole days he wouldn't have been as weak as when I took him in .
When I picked him up I noticed scars on his belly and his ear they didn't even inform me that he was cut . I will be taking this to a higher extent .
If you love your pet do not come here . They won't be fed nor taken care of .

Even for a question I'm SUPPOSED to bring in my elder cat who's 13 now. EVERY single time I have a question, "You need to bring him in". Keep in mind, he has Asthma!!! It will be stressful to my gentleman cat!

The location does not safely accommodate having a bunch of dogs in a tiny waiting area. I arrived at my appointed time of 1PM and it’s almost 3PM and somehow theres still 2 people ahead of me. Why would you schedule so many people for the same day when theres only one doctor? This place isn’t the best, it sucks. And the doctors tend to be incredibly dismissive of all concerns, i personally wouldn’t call them good or patient people.

Great staff but so hard to get in contact. They don't answer the phone. Everything is "text this number and we will get back to you" New place is so small and always crowded. You would think with a new location they would have better time management so the little waiting area isn't cramped out.

CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH I called the Bronx Veterinary Center of Westchester Square in regard to inquiring about their spay services for a female cat and received a quote via text for $370-$420. I called back and confirmed the price for a spay as everything in the city has been significantly higher in costs. I took an hour long train ride from the UWS to complete the initial intake forms and examination. I was on time for the appointment and waited 30 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. Following the 5 minute examination by the vet which consisted of a visual inspection of her ears and a stethoscope to her chest, I was informed the total price for a spay would be $1k. I inquired about the original quote and the receptionist claimed that was for a neuter and spays cost more. If that's the case, why give me that quote other than to get me into the office?! And then they proceeded to make me pay for the examination fee after they miscommunicated the price. I would not recommend trusting this facility with your pet. Not good business practice to lure individuals in under false pretenses. --UPDATE-- They called me back with a discounted price for the spay in an attempt to try to lure me back into the office - as if I was at a sketchy car dealership and walked off the lot without taking their initial offer lol. She was insistent on making things right but refused to refund me for the initial exam so clearly not trying to right a wrong but instead make cash. I standby what I wrote earlier.

The owner which is Dr. K is a very judgmental doctor that as soon as you start speaking about your dog health, he start judging whatever you do to your dog. I brought my dog for a check up because she hadn't been eating and she had diarrhea for three days. As soon as be I started to explain to him, he said she wasn't eating because I was giving her human food and that is why she didn't wanted dog food; then I tried to explain to him that she doesn't eat dog food and he said I was the responsible for that because I did feed her the dog food. So I told him that I wasn't going to tolerate his judgement because I had a strong reason for that. He just said he wasn't going to treat her and that I was not good for my dog. I immediately took my dog and asked to leave because he doesn't know the story of my dog.... In addition when he enter the room he was speaking on the phone and didn't ended the call when he started to speak to me, which I think it is very unprofessional.
